Talking About it Tuesday #110

Well, after another canceled flight, several flight delays, and switching airlines Evan and I finally arrived home Saturday morning at 2 am. I don't think I have ever been so happy to be back from a trip before. I am just so thankful that we had family to fall back on because I can not imagine what our trip would have been like or what it would have cost if we hadn't had them to stay with! I used the weekend to try and get caught up on all the things-- laundry, groceries, blogging, etc.

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

    1. Even just the parking and the "new" flight home set us back a good $700!

  9. Juggling flight schedules is awful. Home always seems especially nice, after a trip like that, even having a family to help along the way. Thanks for hosting!

  16. Glad you made it home and had family to host you while you waited! We had a bad experience with American Airlines in 2019 coming back from Europe and have never flown with them again. Delays, having to stay at a hotel, just the way they handled it...

    1. I have been saying we'll probably never use them again too; I agree that they just handled ALL of it so poorly-- my "full refund" was less than $200 for flights for the 2 of us?! I mean come on I could NEVER find a flight for $100 each!

  18. Glad you made it home. Right now, my husband's co-worker is stuck in Dubai. He took a trip to Africa for vacation and had a layover in Dubai, which closed its airspace DURING his layover due to the attacks from Iran. I can't imagine a more expensive place to be stuck! UG! It's funny how you appreciate the small things like laundry and blogging once you can do them again. :) Thanks so much for hosting this lovely linkup! I've left a couple of my own links and am off now to see what others have shared.
