Share Our Lives: Shows I Just LOVE to Binge

It's the second Monday and time for Share Our Lives. The monthly link up where we share snippets of our lives.

I was thrilled when we decided to share binge worthy shows this month. I'm also running out of things to watch so I hope you all have some great ideas!  


I had lots of great ideas for this post but I decided to list those shows that I have enjoyed re-watching while binging or binged all once in their entirety since they're older shows.

    Such a fun post! Who doesn't love to binge watch Friends and The Big Bang Theory? Have you seen Ginny & Georgia? I think you would like that too.

    Tom and I loved Life in Pieces when it was on regular tv - we waited a week to watch the next episode. So cute!

    I haven't heard of some of these (I don't watch any network TV so unless a show becomes so popular it's part of the zeitgeist, then I don't hear about it). I think the only show I've seen more than once is Gilmore Girls. I'm not a fan of rewatching shows. I get an F in pop culture, I know!!

    I have seen Friends when it was still on TV, but I binged on TBBT and Modern Family.
    I don't have a streaming subscription, so now I mostly binge if I find something (mostly old) on YouTube or if I binge single new seasons I got on DVD. My favorites are usually British.

    I love a lot of the shows that you mentioned but some are new to me! Schitts Creek has been on my list of things to watch forever and Modern Family. I loved Gilmore Girls and Friends of course! I always watch a few episodes a week.

15 Family Restaurant Games

When my boys were little and we'd take them out to eat I kept a small bag of toys in the car to grab on our way into any restaurant.  That way they would be entertained and a bit quieter while we enjoyed our meal. Now that the boys are older we don't keep a bag of toys handy but we do have few games we use to keep the boys occupied if they start getting bored or squirmy while we're waiting for our food or our check. Favorite TV Shows Growing Up in the 80's and early 90's

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. And through the years I had SO MANY favorites! Growing pains aired in 1985 which put me around age 8 and it stayed on the air until I was 15 or so; I'm pretty sure most people in my age group watched mostly for Kirk Cameron and all his antics.  I still have a soft spot for family sit-coms!  The Facts of Life aired when I was just 2  and stayed on the air until I was 11 so I'm sure the episodes I remember so fondly were either some of the later ones and then reruns shown later on when I was old enough to watch from the beginning. My Artwork: Past and Present

I started taking art lessons when I just 5 or 6. My grandmother was already taking my older sister to art classes so all 3 of us took lessons together for a little while. We had a local artist who turned her whole basement into an art studio and had lessons. Christina O'Brian was her name and she passed away in 2017. Through the years she had me painting with both oil and acrylics and while I enjoy both acrylics has a much easier clean up.  My grandmother was quite an artist. Sadly, I only have a few pieces painted by her.   I didn't think I had any of my earlier painting projects but my mom found these two in some of her boxes when they were unpacking in their new house.  I don't remember either one of these but they sure do make me laugh/smile. There aren't any dates on them but I know I was in elementary school at the time.   I kept those weekly lessons up until I was in high school. I am always looking for new and more book ideas. Dara has offered to join me as co-host and I could not be more thrilled. Talk about a prolific reader with lots to share!  I had a fabulous month of fun reading! Each book I picked up or listened to through Libby seemed better than the last. I love when that happens.  1. The Lions of Fifth Avenue by Fiona Davis- - Told in 2 time lines this book focuses on a family that lived in the New York Public Library in the early 1900's. Laura Lions' husband is the superintendent of the library and while he's struggling to finish his own novel many of those they are taxed with keeping safe are going missing. 10 Most Popular Posts of All Time

Each year near the end of December/ beginning of January I share the top 10 posts of the year but this year, in particular, I have noticed some much older posts that are still bringing in lots of pageviews and thought it would be fun to look back and see a top 10 list of all time.  I started my blog in June of 2012 and while so many of my first posts were long blocky, chunky rambles without any real photos of us and our family I just can't bring myself to delete any of them as I really do enjoy looking back and seeing how my blog has change and grown over time. Not surprisingly all my top 10 posts are from more recent years.  I love to look at what is popular and try to figure out WHY each post is so popular.
