Highlights & Favorites: A Sentence a Day January 2026
All in all we had a pretty nice January. Alec headed back to school on the 4th for classes on the 5th and by Wednesday the 7th my brother had moved into Alec room; it's only temporary as Alec will need his room back when he moves home in April but it's been nice having my brother around and talking with/seeing him more. We also had some mild winter days that were conducive to hiking and I sure made the most of that. Of course it is Ct in winter so we had plenty of snowy days too and one or two really big storms and ended the month with a very long arctic freeze.

You survived probably the harshest (for sure the longest) winter month up in CT! It's all downhill, hopefully weatherwise from here. Your pictures of the snowy landscape are really good- snow is disruptive but beautiful. I like your flare jeans and black top the best as far as your outfits but they are all cute :). I hope you're feeling 100% better today! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow! I don't think you repeated an outfit? Is that true? Do you simply rotate? I put on jeans after about 5 days in lounge pants or leggings and it felt great!
ReplyDeleteSo glad January is over! Now just to get through February then Spring will almost be here! I've had enough of the white stuff- how about you? ;)
ReplyDeleteHow great to have your brother around for a little while. You did have a lot of snow but I bet Ian had a fun clearing it in the new machine.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a great month and the hikes look fantastic! Everything looks so pretty covered in snow.
