ReplyDeleteFunny enough most of the nurses were horrified when they heard... other than the one nurse who has a husband that also welds. She started telling him about how she just removed a piece of metal from her husband's knee at home the day before. Hazard of the job, I guess!

ReplyDeleteSome years are like that, aren’t they, where we don’t feel much like celebrating Christmas. I got into the spirit a few days before, once preschool wrapped up for the year. Then it was all over in a flash. Your celebration with your family looked like a lot of fun. All your food pics looked delicious, and what a beautiful restaurant for a date night. I had to reread the part where you said your husband had a piece of metal in his neck for years. I’m glad he has had it removed! Ruth@playworkeatrepeat
ReplyDeleteSo much to be thankful for! Your trails and scenery and Christmas decorations are all so beautiful, and all the yummy looking food too! The restaurant for date night looked like a charming place. I almost scrolled past the detail about your husband having a piece of metal surgically removed from his neck and I was like - what?! Glad that was a "minor" procedure and went well!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had a fun time. I hope your husband's ok. I love your outdoors photos as always.
