Cards and Papercrafts I made in January 2026
These first few were technically made the last week of December but I was having too much fun with my new Christmas gifts and just had to share them here on the blog. I got a Betterpress Letterpress system and some new black ink pads. The system came with the floral plate and I already had the peacock since the plates can also be used with the hot foil system.
I made Alec a cake topper for his birthday & a card too, of course
One snowy day in late January I started scrapbooking.. and made 9 pages in one day!
Linking up with: fine/whatever,

Lovely creations! The fireplace with the Christmas stockings is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love all of the multi textured cards. They look so fancy. And your scrapbook pages are really good, too. January is definitely good for something- a "chance" to do indoor things. At least that's what I'm telling myself :).
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am definitely trying to focus on all the fun indoor things I can do in winter too.
DeleteSo beautiful and creative as always!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThose are beautiful! I'm not much of a crafter, so I have a questions. Do you color in the black printed cards at the beginning of the post? How did you make the cake topper? Is it a cricut? Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! I did use alcohol markers to color in the images of the first 4 cards. I made the cake topper using my Cricut, yes. I cut one regular and one mirror image and then just glue the two together around a trimmed wooden grill skewer.
DeleteWonderful cards. Very pretty to look through.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou always do such a great job! I am hoping to make some Valentines Day cards with Violet, but she is not a fan of crafts yet.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteIt does sound like you had fun with your Christmas gifts. The cards are beautiful and I love the cake topper! Good job with all the scrapbook pages!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou have the perfect winter hobby! Love!
ReplyDeleteI sure do!
DeleteI love the sparkly sheep!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteBeautiful! I especially like the Letterpress cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteMy favorite part of the cards you make, is the variety! You don't employ a production line to make several that are the same. Very nice. #MMBC
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much! I typically only do that production line type of assembly at Christmas.. and even then I don't make them all exactly the same.
DeleteI love all of these! The scrapbooks are such a sweet way to look back on special memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThese are all very beautiful.

DeleteI just love these! I haven't heard of the Letterpress but the results are just gorgeous. TOTALLY LOVE the fold-out photos on the Christmas page. So fun. Thanks for sharing this post with all of us at the Will Blog for Comments #76 linkup. We look forward to more shares at #77 when it opens next Monday (now 2 hours earlier). Wishing you a lovely week ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you; I've been enjoying using the Letterpress.
DeleteOhhhhhh......you are so talented!!! I love making cards but they are nothing like this!!!!!! I love your scrapbooking pages too!!! I want to get back into it. It has been quite a few years since I have. I started making photo books because of time and just wanting to get pictures off my phone and actually in view for our family. But I sure miss a beautiful creative beauty of a scrapbook!!!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteYou have such a creative streak Joanne. I didnt know that cake toppers were part of it😂😂
ReplyDeleteIm so in awe of your cards. I used to make them but nothing as fabulous

LOL! Yep! I Finally realized it was crazy to buy them when I could just make them.
DeleteYou're sure having fun :-D
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
I definitely am!
DeleteThat floral stamp is really beautiful. A hellebore? No matter the colors, it's lovely. And those birthday cards are especially personal. I love tht idea. All wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteWow that is wonderful. You made so many great layouts.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!

DeleteI really like those floral ones. They have me thinking about spring!!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteYour creativity never ceases to amaze me. I suppose, should someone receive a store bought card from you, they would know immediately where they stood with you! Haha!!!

DeleteI love all the floral! A little bit of springtime during the cold, grey winter. :o)
ReplyDeleteYes! Exactly!
DeleteWow, those are all beautiful/cute/amazing! Great work and talent, Joanne.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteThose floral cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOh , my gosh, everything is so well done and lovely. The peacock card is spectacular. What are you coloring the cards with? Marker or colored pencil? Just beautiful. And 9 scrapbook pages in one sitting??? That would take me half the year!! High five!! Your pages look great. I think I overthink mine and it takes me forever to get a 2-page spread.
ReplyDeleteI used alcohol blend markers for coloring in. The only ones I really dislike are the theater pages but I really couldn't come up with any other ideas.
