Talking About it Tuesdays #99
And just like that it's December! We had a lovely long Thanksgiving weekend and are braced for a possibly huge snowstorm today (or perhaps we'll just get rain as we've heard every prediction from just rain to 9"). I'm hoping for rain!
I had lots of time over my break to read blog posts and get all caught up on our link party submissions. We've had some really great ones!

This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving! We did, too. I wasn't quite ready for Christmas season yet, but we decorated while playing Christmas music, and that has helped.
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite ready for the Christmas season either but we did decorate over the long weekend and I'm finding the lights and decorations are helping me feel more spirited.
DeleteYou will have to let us know if you get snow or rain! We got snow overnight- probably several inches and school is canceled. Yah! Looking forward to staying snug in the house today until the roads clear. Thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteWe woke to a dusting and the forecast for today says a winery mix; mostly rain. Funny enough We headed north to Massachusetts and they had no snow at all.
DeleteThat is a crazy range - rain or 9 inches of snow. We got 3 inches! It happened from 10 pm until 4 am so I was asleep but woke up to a winter wonderland an Eddie Otis is so happy!
ReplyDeleteI was so surprised to see my blue tree photo - I hope my post helped someone. I used my own suggestions and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I'm glad you had a nice long weekend! Did you enjoy Alec's roommate?
Wow! I do love how that coating of snow looks when I wake up and everything is covered. Alec's roommate is super sweet. She'll stay with us one night in December before flying home for the break.
DeleteNine inches! Yikes! I’ll hope you get rain instead too. Glad you had a lovely holiday. We did too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. So far so good and no real snow accumulation.
DeleteI'm glad you had such a nice Thanksgiving weekend. HOpefully the storm won't bring too much snow. We're bracing for rain. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI don't understand the weather forecasts anymore lol. It seems like anything goes. We have rain here, but I wouldn't mind a teensy bit of snow. We don't see it here often or in any significant amount which I sometimes miss. Thanks for hosting the link up and I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteRight?! I feel like they're just calling out anything so in the end they can say they predicted it.
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeletewe are predicted to get anywhere from 2 to 8 inches of snow depending on where you live!! Crazy prediction, Huh?? If what we get falls in that range they can still claim they were right!! THANK YOU so much for all your visits!!! I am playing catch up trying to respond to all the comments that I have not got a chance to respond to....I apologize....
My Link Ups for today's party are # 28, 29 and 30!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well...

You're welcome! I think that's what all the crazy predictions are about too. You can't be wrong if you predict all possible outcomes.

DeleteRain or snow? I guess Winter has arrived. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDelete*sigh* Yep. They're saying a high of 6 on Thursday night! Winter has arrived.
DeleteI'm so happy to read that you had a lovely long holiday weekend! It sounds like you may be etting the snowstorm we had over the weekend! It is pretty this time of year! Thanks so much for hosting us all!
ReplyDeleteLuckily we only got rain today!
DeleteThose Origami Trees really caught my eye! Thanks so much for hosting and the feature of my jam bars, have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun and pretty?

DeleteOh you hope to get rain - I hope to get snow for my cross-country trail. I really hope you didn´t get a severe snow-storm, as you seem to have often in your region.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time, a wonderful December and all the best

I came back after posting my link and doing bit of Christmas decorating to say thank you, in this season of gratitude, for your weekly link up! Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We may also get some significant snow today overnight--it's good, as we have been in a drought.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joanne for hosting the first DEC. Talking About it Tues. for 2025. My shares this time are 57 thru 59. Enjoy the day, no matter what the weather and be well!
ReplyDeleteAlways a fun party! Glad you had a fun Thanksgiving and time to catch up. I've been just the opposite. We had a lovely holiday weekend, but I didn't open my laptop once. I guess that's a good thing sometimes!! Haha! Happy December!
