Talking About it Tuesdays #80
We had another fabulous summer week and and weekend! We've been hiking, went to an 18th birthday party/cookout, made some new recipes, and picked raspberries and blueberries. We've also had plenty of downtime at home hiding out in the air conditioning on those days the heat and humidity are just too much. I don't mind though because those times at home give me plenty of opportunities to visit all the posts that linked up at last week's party.
We had another great week of participation with well over 100 links and such a wide variety of subjects too. I can't wait to see what you share this week!
The link with the most views from last week's party:
Hello Monday by Coffee and Cocktails at the Casa
A few that caught my eye:
Chocolate Raspberry Pie by Fat Dad Foodie
Edible Play Dough (Disney Theme) by 24 Hour Family
This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

Such a beautiful photo! I totally get why that one got the most clicks : )
ReplyDeleteYep, I thought the same thing!
DeleteIt's great that so many are participating- you're a trooper for reading all of them! Thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! I find I can't comment on them all but I try really hard to visit them all.
DeleteWell, I can't believe people wanted to read about little ol' me. I think it was the Lake MI beach photo that made them click! Thank you for all of your work!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photo for sure!
DeleteThanks so much for the feature!

You're welcome!
DeleteWe went blueberry picking too this past weekend. I wish I knew a place where we could pick raspberries. They are my favorite. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteThis was the first year that the blueberry place had planted and had raspberries for picking. I didn't think I was a huge raspberry fan but freshly picked ones are so tasty! Hopefully someone will plant some near you.
DeleteIt sounds like a perfect week of summer!
ReplyDeleteIt really felt like it!
DeleteThat chocolate and raspberry pie! Thanks for the visit and the link-up!
ReplyDeleteI am such a sucker for anything that combines chocolate and raspberry!

Waving hi from SE PA! I am enjoying the slightly cooler weather too!
DeleteSo far it looks like only Friday will be in the mid-90's here but we are enjoying these couple of days of cooler weather up here as well.
DeleteHappy Tuesday! Such a pretty picture for the feature, I can see why it's so popular. I am enjoying slightly cooler weather in SEPA until it heats up again. We are heading to St. Vincent's next weekend, and I think when we return, I will be ready for the Fall weather to kick in. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteOh I don't want to rush fall weather just yet; though I do love that time of year too.
DeleteIt sounds like a lovely week! Sweet, sweet summertime! Thanks for hosting the link-up!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!

Ours seem to go in 3 or 4 day spans-- really hot and humid then a thunderstorm or rain and it cools off for a few..
DeleteI have been staying inside as much as I can on those humid days. I wish I could handle it better. Let me pause and whine yet again about getting old and autoimmune diseases. Or ... not. Ha! Glad you have been having such a lovely time. We had a pretty great week last week too!
ReplyDeleteThat's good that you had a pretty great week too. I try to stay inside on those humid days too though we're lucky that we almost always have a nice breeze off the lake.
DeleteHello Joanne, thank you so much sharing the SSPS logo with your readers and for the lovely party

ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for hiding out of the heat! It's been in the 90s here with a lot of humidity. Hope to see you in #TuesdayTwirl
ReplyDeleteBusy summer days! But like you, I am happy to sit in the AC and read when it is too hot.
