Holiday Lights Experience at Roger Williams

We went to the Holiday Lights Experience at Roger Williams Park Zoo after Christmas last year and it was such a fun night.

More than 3 1/2 million lights spread throughout the whole zoo, smores stands, hot cocoa, and holiday music playing throughout; it was wonderful.

  3. The Trail of Lights in Austin is very similar, but so, so crowded. I do have very good memories of taking my kids to see lights in the days leading up to Christmas. So fun!

    1. From what I've heard this is usually really crowded too but I think because we went mid-week between Christmas and New Years it wasn't bad at all.

  4. The Atlanta zoo does Chinese lanterns. This year, we are planning to go see the lights at Six Flags since we have passes. I just need to choose a mild night to go with the boys.

  13. There is something so magical about Christmas Lights, Joanne. They certainly add to the festive spirit and here in Australia, houses are being decorated for 'the best Christmas lights' competition. It certainly spreads good cheer and your photos really capture the magic. Thanks for sharing with us at #WWWhimsy and have a lovely week. Sue L #TeamWWWhimsy x

  16. Those scenes where the lights are reflected in the water are just beautiful! I think your zoo beat Newfields by about 1.5 million lights! Absolutely gorgeous, and thanks for sharing, Joanne!
