Casual Holiday Looks with Ageless Style

It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Bo picked  casual holiday looks for our ageless style group.

I almost didn't participate this month since I don't have any holiday outfits planned this year but since every Christmas is a casual one in our family, I decided to cull through old posts and throw together a collage of outfit ideas. Mostly you'll see I love wearing sweaters with either jeans or black pants paired with some boots.

I often try to wear something red or green like this red blouse with these black pants, boots, and cream colored cardigan.

Or this red sweater and jeans with my brown boots.

This striped red sweater is another holiday favorite. Paired with either jeans or black pants and some boots it's a fun holiday look.

I also have this fun off the shoulder burgundy sweater that I often pair with jeans and boots.

One of my favorite casual Christmas looks is this *ugly* Christmas sweater; themed after my favorite Christmas movie. The house lights up with colored lights too!  I always pair it with jeggings and my brown boots.

I love faire isle sweaters and this blue one has become another favorite casual holiday look.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the nail decals I often apply each December (one new set every week or so)

I hope you'll join us next month when we look at "winter blues"-- this can be an outfit using shades of blue or perhaps something we wear that helps us beat the winter blues.

  5. I stopped wearing boots years ago, they make one's feet and legs sweaty and itchy and then end up smelling funny. The nails are nice.

    1. Up here where days can be 12 degrees, boots are kind of a necessity but I'd rather live life in flip flops for sure!

  10. Great nails! I used to wear nail wraps all the time from a company called Jamberries. They went out of biz and I haven't used any since. I need to investigate and find some new pretty ones like yours. Merry Christmas!

    1. I had a hard time getting Jamberries to stick to my nails; I use Colorstreet nail wraps now and they last me a week (usually!.. if I don't start picking at them).

  12. I love your outfits, as usual, but your nails are great! Very festive. Totally do not think I could pull those off - but would be fun if I did!!

    1. Thank you so much! Colorstreet used to have small kits for accent nails where you can make one nail festive and just pick a plain color for the others but I'm not sure if they make them anymore..

  14. OMG obsessed with all your Christmas nails! They are so cute. You and I both went down memory lane for outfit inspiration and why not! Our closets are full of inspiration. I think burgundy is your comfort color and looks great on you. As far as I am concerned, I think everyone needs an "ugly" Christmas sweater as they are so easy to throw on and look festive in. Wishing you a happy holiday season.

  15. Those nails are fabulous! I'm going to have to look into getting some for next Christmas.

  16. I love fair isle sweaters, too! It's so hard to find them in all natural fibers, though. And, your nails are so much fun! I really should give those a try!

  17. Your nail decals always look so professionally done. Love the little Christmas light decals. Super cute. As are all of your holiday looks. They are all warm and cozy and comfy looking. My favorites are the light up CUTE *ugly* sweater and the Fair Isle sweater in blue. That would work great for next month's winter blues prompt.
Are you going to continue your Wednesday WW posts? I have got to quit eating and get back in shape. Have got to quit paying for the WW app and never tracking. This year has to be the year!!
