  3. I am giving my mom a cozy blanket and The Women for Christmas. I hope she likes it as much as I did!

  4. This is an interesting list! Goodreads informed me that I have read 33 books this year which is a good start for me. I used to be such a bookworm. I am gearing up for next year's reading challenge by going to Half Price Books today and picking out the first two for 2025. Marry Christmas and happy reading!

    1. I've done that before too! Though, luckily I find at least a few books tend to overlap and work for multiple challenges.

    1. Aw, thank you. I surprised myself this year finishing it up so soon. I won't be able to with 2025's challenge since we have lots of ones that deal with the "ber" months.

What a fun way to break down the books. We listened to Dad is Fat, but it wasn't my favorite. I definitely want to read #39. Thanks for the recommendation,

  14. Great to catch up on your 52 books challenge Joanne. You have some interesting books that you've read that I will definitely check out to add to my list for 2025. Many of the titles are new to me which I love. It's interesting to see the books you matched to the prompts.

  15. Well done, my friend!! So many of these books have been on my radar. There are a few I've even read!! How do you go about attacking this challenge? Do you go to the library and scour the shelves for a book with a yellow spine? A palindrome? I would like to try it but it seems overwhelming to me. Would appreciate any hints you could provide maybe in a post in the new year?

    1. For the first 1/2 of the year I just read what I want and see if it fits a prompt but then as I knock more of them off the list I do start to do some Google searches for ideas plus there is a 52 Book Club challenge Facebook page and everyone suggests lots of books for each prompt. There is often Goodreads challenge list with the various prompts too so it's really not that hard to find.

    2. Thank you for the tips. I think I will try it. It's hard for me to read something I really am not getting into at all, even if it would satisfy one of the prompts!! Didn't know there was a 52 Book Club challenge FB group. Thanks!!
