Cards and Scrapbook Pages I Made in September
I had such a busy month of "playing" in my craftroom. I created lots of new cards and got all caught up on my scrapbooking!
I had ordered two new stamp sets that make these beautiful ocean/beach scenes and I had so much fun playing around with inks and the sets.
I low how the glitter sparkles! |
I also played around with inks and stencils.
I had fun creating some new layouts and playing around with inks while scrapbooking; something I have never done before!
I made the background for the above layout; this was plain white 12x12 paper when I started! I used ink and the same stamps sets as the cards above. |

The ocean ones are By the Sea & the Shoreline Stamp Set by Inkylicious. The bear is from the HedgeHUGS set by Penny Black and the balloons are from Stampin Up's Beautiful Balloons bundled set.
DeleteThe glitter on those cards is amazing and my goodness, that first card looks like it has actually droplets of water on it. SO COOL. I love the July 4th scrapbook page, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I used some clear dot embellishments for the droplet effect.
DeleteI love those sand and sea cards! Can I ask what stamp set you used to make them? Is it made just with a stamp and glitter?
ReplyDeleteI used a stamp inked with embossing ink, then used sticky embossing powder so the glitter would have something to cling to. Both ocean sets are from Inkylicious and are By the Sea and By the Sea-- Shoreline set.
DeleteWow! everything you made is beautiful and I especially like the relaxing blue beach scenes. So creative.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteSuch creativity. Like magic that you turned a white piece of paper into a beach!! I am glad someone else asked for the details on these stamp sets. I need that glitter in my life. We use ink to on the edges of photos and die cuts in our scrapbooking. And I have done a little stamping to make cards. Would like to get better at the stamping. For every well-stamped card I have 2 or 3 smudged ones.
ReplyDeleteI remember inking on the edges of photos and die cuts too! I've been stamping since I was in high school so I have lots and lots of practice. The key is even pressure... you might benefit from something like a MISTI tool that is supposed to stop smudging and prevents the stamped images from moving.
DeletePlaying in the craftroom is always great. These are so beautiful. You did an amazing job!
