It's the first Wednesday of the month and time for the Currently link up with Jennifer at Overflowing with Thankfulness. This month we're talking about what we're currently loving, looking forward to, planning, wearing, and eating.
Loving: Our weather has been fabulous this week so we shortened our school days by 1 subject and went on some nice long hikes.
Looking forward to: We have Alec's parent/player meeting tonight and while I am NOT looking forward to sitting through another one of those I am looking forward to the start of track and field and watching him perform for his last year.

Pretty blouses! I like the first one a lot. Great news about the weather and getting lots of hikes in. I have been enjoying running outside, in shorts sometimes, even :). Have a great Wednesday!

DeleteOh, your food looks so good!!! And our weather has been pretty great these past few days! I definitely wish I could be outside more.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteIt is so hard to see our kids grow up so fast. Love that you enjoyed these hikes and I adore all these cute casual looks.

Thank you!
DeleteYay for shortened days and long hikes! All of those food pictures look amazing; you've been eating so well lately!
ReplyDeleteI have been eating so well lately and I feel great!
DeleteWay to go on the healthy food! I've been working on adding more vegetables to my diet. The hiking looks great as always. You live in such a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteLove that you made that salad- your food looks even healthier and more colorful! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you & you're welcome!
DeleteI need to start doubling up on veggies! I keep going back and forth with my eating habits: I love my salads but then will revert to sandwiches (and not even the good bread).

LOL! I do love salads but this time of year I do seem to pass them up for cooked/hot veggies more often.
DeleteI'm glad you are getting some sunshine and hikes in! Your food looks so healthy!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIt's so beautiful in the spring in your area and perfect for those walks/hikes. I love your outfits and I will have to order the Lily top. I've seen it on some other bloggers and it's perfect for spring. I just wish the sun would come out and less rain! LOL. Enjoy the rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We could do with a little less rain too; we're finding lots of trees uprooting themselves on all our hikes lately.
DeleteI hope he likes track and field! I remember sitting outside for spring soccer all those years. SO COLD. 🤣
ReplyDeleteHe loves it! He's been working on discus and javelin all 3 years up to now and plans to compete in those same two events this year too.
DeleteGreat idea on the sqush/apples. I have some butternut cubes I need to use this week (and apples, too!) So, you know what I'll be making!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's delicious.
DeleteI'm looking forward to some hikes this spring. We've had so much rain lately that we haven't been out as much as we normally are this time of year. It's good to hike here now and into spring before the humidity gets too crazy. I hope your son enjoys his year. I come from a family of serious runners, but sadly am not one myself. Have a great rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteWe've had lots of rain too so everything is pretty muddy but it's still fun to get out when it's not raining. Alec would have loved to compete in running but he's had such joint problems each year that he's decided to just stick to field events-- javelin and discus so he doesn't ruin his knees and ankles.
DeleteI love the cardigans and as usual, all the food looks so good! I am glad y'all were able to enjoy some walks outside this week and enjoy the weather.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYummy meals, love the salads. You're not shortening the days by one subject, you're having outdoor PE, biology, and geography!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThose cardigans are so cute. I love to wear cardigans!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI agree - those parent meetings are never fun but watching Alec in his last year sure will be!
ReplyDeletexo,
Kellyann
I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't always the same thing-- for 4 years in a row. LOL
DeleteI know I always say this but it's so impressive to me that you still hike with the snow.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jodie
Aw, thank you!
DeleteThose blue skies are gorgeous! I really like that Lilly dupe, too! Your food looks quite tasty...except for the sweet potatoes! I just can't eat them...long story, but I'm not going to share it!

Thank you!
DeleteYou look like you've been eating healthy! And I love the cardi's. I wear them too. So cosy...#WOYP
ReplyDeleteI have been loving my new healthy eating regimen.
DeleteIt does look like you have had some lovely weather. It's been grey and foggy here for the last couple of days and we're forecast snow at the end of the week. lol
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Evan with 11th grade, it sounds like you have some great plans.
We're under a flash flood watch right now because we've been having lots of rain.
DeleteLove the outfits and those beautiful blue skies! Hope you have a fab rest of the month.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the freedom of homeschooling~ and being able to break away to enjoy a beautiful day. :) I have also been planning out next year's curriculum! I am excited about it and I hope Wyatt will be too.
ReplyDeleteOH me too!
