10 on the 10th on the 14th; February 2024

I had such a busy week last week that by the time Marsha shared her 10 on the 10th questions I just knew I'd never get the time to answer them. I had a few minutes Saturday afternoon while everyone was gone to sit down and work on the blog so I thought I'd whip up a fun post for Valentine's day and finally answer Marsha's questions a couple of days late.

This month we had some fun would you rather questions to answer:

1. I love chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered popcorn and chocolate covered potato chips are no different.  That combo of sweet and salty gets me every time.

we made this pink popcorn/ chocolate covered party mix for Valentine's day one year

2. I think I'd be okay singing a public love song as long as I had some back up music; I was chosen to be in our school's select chorus and even sang a few solos. But I also wrote a whole lot of poetry all through middle & high school so I'd be okay with that too... I think if I had to pick between the two I'd pick singing.

3. I've always wanted to meet Dolly (and I'm only vaguely aware of who Willie Nelson is); she seems like such an interesting character. Plus if nothing else we could talk about Dollywood!

We had the best time there on our 2022 trip to the Smoky Mountains

4. One rose in the color I love most; though that color can change often!

5. Pink and purple please! I am not a fan of orange at all.

6. I could never handle driving in a race car at a race track since I am much too chicken for that; a carriage ride, especially through the Scottish highlands!, sounds much more my speed.

7. I'd be perfectly happy with either of them delivering my pizza but I think I'd pick The Rock since I've seen far more of his movies and would most likely not mistake him for someone else.

8.  Though slippery I do love satin sheets! So I'd pick those.

9. Even my lest favorite flavor isn't bad so I'd pick chocolates!

10. While I love the idea of being surprised (in theory) I am such a control freak that I do prefer planning most things myself. I think I'd be okay with a surprise date though since I know my husband would just pick dinner out at some new (possibly fancy) restaurant.

    1. I have never seen a black rose myself.. My husband doesn't do much for Valentine's day either but he has learned that he just can't ignore it either. Usually we go out to dinner one night around Valentine's day and he'll get me a box of chocolates.

  19. The Rock seems like such a genuinely great guy so I'd choose him, too! And I'm not a fan or orange either! I have nothing orange in my closet except for one lone Halloween sweatshirt.

    1. Yes, I have one sweater that has an orange stripe that I wear mostly in the fall and I think that is the only bit of orange I have in my whole closet.
