Winter Bucket list

In honor of the first day of winter I thought I'd share my winter bucket list. We have big plans for the season but I'm honestly not sure how it will go.  We've had a very stressful and unpredictable end to our fall that has really brought home to me just how much is out of our control... but I am still going to to plan (and hope!) for the best.   So here it goes...

1. Celebrate Christmas with the family

2. Have the best time in the Caribbean with my husband on our cruise!

3. Try to get out snowshoeing a time or two

4. Put together a new puzzle or two

5. Read some books by the fire or the woodstove (or the pool on the ship!)

6. Celebrate Alec's 18th birthday!

7. Repaint the 1/2 bath

8. Try at least 2 new cardmaking techniques

9. Start a new book challenge with the New Year

10. Throw a fabulous 70th birthday party for my mom

    1. My mother in law has been in and out of the hospital this past week and they can't figure out what is wrong so it's been pretty stressful; also we were without power for several days which just added on stress. But I do wake up each day with hope and feel like with everything they rule out that it is not with all these tests we have GOT to be one step closer to figuring out what it IS.

I hope they have found answers/get answers soon. And I hope you and your husband have a wonderful trip to the Caribbean! It will be nice to get away!

    1. She just came home on Wednesday and so far she seems to be feeling much, much better. They believe she developed a bacterial infection in her abdomen from a leak in her intestines.
