Encouraging Hearts and Home: Good-bye Summer

With the first official day of fall coming this weekend it's time for those of us in the north to say goodbye to summer.  I'm always both sad and happy to see it go.  I do love fall and all the fun and festive things it brings with it but I do miss the sun and warmth and heat.  I have no real theme for my features this week but I hope you'll enjoy them anyway!

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

  4. Joanne,
I , on the other hand, are thrilled to see Summer go....It has never been my favorite Season even as a kid...Fall has always been my favorite so I love this time of the year...Because of my auto immune disease issues, I do worse physically in the Summer and so much better in the Fall and Winter...
Thanks again for hosting this wonderful party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! I hope you have a great week!
    Hugs,
    Deb

    1. I honestly don't know at this point who is still participating and who is not... I know we had huge hopes for updating everything but Linda (at Apron Strings and Other Things) who so kindly keeps everything running for us all has been having real issues with her computer and internet and has been struggling to get all the things done like she had hoped.

    1. I feel like all the seasons, other than winter, tend to fly right by.

    1. LOL! I think if we had 100 degree days I'd feel the same way but thankfully our summers aren't nearly as scorching hot as they are down south.

  8. Summer always goes by too fast and in our area fall goes by quickly too. I have to make sure to squeeze out a lot of fall fun before it's also gone. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week!

  9. Thank you so much for hosting. I'm excited for fall to arrive. I just wish winter over where I live, took a little longer to arrive. Have a wonderful weekend.
