Prime Purchases Made in July
While I didn't buy anything at all for Prime days I did end up buying quite a bit on Amazon in July. Alec needed a few things for his dorm stay (he just spent 3 nights on campus "trying out" the program he's interested in) and then both Alec and I needed new phones and I bought some accessories for that as well as the new car we bought for Alec to use.
1. We bought some new e-z pass velcro pads so I could move his ez pass from the old car to the new one. And I got him this holder for his insurance & registration.
2. We bought some xl twin sheets-- and yes, he picked them out in brown despite the many other colors they had to pick from! LOL I did warn him whatever ones he picked out he would be using next year when he goes off to college.
3. I have been pretty disgusted with how dingy our showers have been looking so I decided to try this mega shower cleaning foam that comes with a microfiber cloth and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked.
4. Alec's new wallet/ phone case
5. My new Otterbox cell phone case and Mickey popsocket. I've never used a popsocket before but this otterbox case was much smoother than my last one and I didn't feel like I had as good a grip on it as my old one.
6. Ian broke his belt and wanted a new click belt.
7. I saw this sleeveless sweater on Jen's blog I thought it looked cute and like something I could use into early fall. It comes in a variety of colors but I picked white.
8. I bought this set of 2 aprons, I have bought one or two aprons in the past but have such a hard time finding ones that fit and actually absorb the juices or whatever from what I'm cooking but I think I'm really going to like these.

Cute aprons! I have a couple of them but I don't think to put them on and I have definitely gotten hard to get out "splatter" from juices/ grease on my clothes. I need to wear aprons more! The sleeveless sweater is pretty, too. I like a classic neutral color and yours looks nice with your cute jeans.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think it will make a great transition piece for fall too.
DeleteAmazon has such great phone accessories, your new otterbox and Mickey pop socket will look so cute!

They really do! And the prices are so much better than at the phone store too.
DeleteLove the aprons! The shower cleaner sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how well it worked.
DeleteWhat great buys! I have found Amazon really good for phone cases and I love the look of those aprons.
ReplyDeleteThe sweater looks cute on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThe apron are so cute and the shower cleaner sounds good. I wonder if it would work on our glass which sadly seems to be permanently stained.
ReplyDeleteRuth@playworkeatrepeat
I wonder; it did make our glass doors a bit cleaner but I can't do anything about the grout that's holding the glass in place.
DeleteYour Mickey pop socket is so fun! I have aprons and I never remember to wear them! Fun to think about college.
ReplyDeleteSarah from TorontoSAM, not Anon.
Thank you! I just knew I had to buy that rainbow Mickey when I saw it.
DeleteSuch great purchases! I kind of like the color of sheets your son picked, think they will go with any color decor in his room he chooses otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting to do my Amazon prime post. Have been buying so much from Amazon in the recent months!! But it's been such a busy summer too!
I figured that too! Though he often pairs what I would consider "odd" colors together.
DeleteThat Mickey Mouse pop socket is the cutest! I love your little bike top as well! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI really like that sleeveless sweater. Don't often wear sleeveless but wonder how this would look? Great transition piece! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I thought it would make a great transition piece too.
DeleteI used Amazon so much when Anna went to college. It was so helpful.
ReplyDeleteThose aprons are really cute!
Oh I bet, I've already got a list of sorts started!
DeleteI'm going to check out the shower cleaner. Dingy is a good word to describe our shower right now...ha, ha! Love the phone holder too. Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
DeleteHow funny because we rarely wear aprons (in fact, couldn't even find them for a while) but Rob just pulled them out and was wearing it this last week.

I have only ever owned one apron and it was so stiff and uncomfortable that I got rid of it after only wearing it once. I'm hoping I'll remember to wear these ones more often.
DeleteI LOVE those aprons! Adorable!!! And Otterbox is always my go-to. I also always get them on amazon!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI wear aprons a lot, and they show it! They're all stained and dingy. But, that just shows they're loved, right? I've never used a pop socket before either and keep thinking I should get one.

Definitely! I hope mine starts looking stained and dingy since that will mean they are well worn. I am really enjoying having a popsocket.
DeleteThat reminds me that I need a new apron too. But I keep on forgetting about it, lol.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to buy an apron for years and never thought of it either.
DeleteMy husband purchased one of those click belts and loves it!
ReplyDeleteI think we all have one at this point and I really do like them a lot.
DeleteI always love a cute apron, and I have several, but I never remember to wear them! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI HOPE I remember to wear them!
DeleteThat sweater is adorable and looks great on you in the white! I love the aprons you picked up as well. You found some great items!
ReplyDeleteAw thank you!
DeleteNeat purchases! I went with something very basic for my new phone and have never used a pop socket.

I had never used one before either but I felt like I was dropping this case a lot more than my last one.
DeleteI bought a pop socket for the first time last week and I am LOVING it! Mine has a story behind it which is coming to the blog next week :) And those aprons are so cute! I'm a sucker for an apron and love all the stories mine have.
ReplyDeleteI am loving my popsocket too! I can't wait to hear your story.
DeleteThank you for sharing your links with us at #273 SSPS Linky and sharing our logo to show where you party and hang out. See you again next week.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting!
DeleteI loved seeing your purchases, Joanne! Amazon sure makes it easy!
ReplyDeleteIt sure does!
DeleteAmazon is THE best place to buy phone cases, for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt really is!
DeleteGreat Amazon finds this month, Joanne. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOMG, so many great things! We shop Amazon frequently also, being so far out in the country it helps save a trip into town. Thanks for sharing with SSPS!
ReplyDeleteI think that's why rely on it so much too; we don't have a ton of options for where we live either.
