Prime Purchases Made in July

While I didn't buy anything at all for Prime days I did end up buying quite a bit on Amazon in July.  Alec needed a few things for his dorm stay (he just spent 3 nights on campus "trying out" the program he's interested in) and then both Alec and I needed new phones and I bought some accessories for that as well as the new car we bought for Alec to use.

1. We bought some new e-z pass velcro pads so I could move his ez pass from the old car to the new one.  And I got him this holder for his insurance & registration.

2. We bought some xl twin sheets-- and yes, he picked them out in brown despite the many other colors they had to pick from! LOL  I did warn him whatever ones he picked out he would be using next year when he goes off to college.

3. I have been pretty disgusted with how dingy our showers have been looking so I decided to try this mega shower cleaning foam that comes with a microfiber cloth and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked.

4. Alec's new wallet/ phone case

5. My new Otterbox cell phone case and Mickey popsocket.  I've never used a popsocket before but this otterbox case was much smoother than my last one and I didn't feel like I had as good a grip on it as my old one.

6. Ian broke his belt and wanted a new click belt.

7. I saw this sleeveless sweater on Jen's blog I thought it looked cute and like something I could use into early fall.  It comes in a variety of colors but I picked white.

8. I bought this set of  2 aprons, I have bought one or two aprons in the past but have such a hard time finding ones that fit and actually absorb the juices or whatever from what I'm cooking but I think I'm really going to like these.

  1. Cute aprons! I have a couple of them but I don't think to put them on and I have definitely gotten hard to get out "splatter" from juices/ grease on my clothes. I need to wear aprons more! The sleeveless sweater is pretty, too. I like a classic neutral color and yours looks nice with your cute jeans.

  5. The apron are so cute and the shower cleaner sounds good. I wonder if it would work on our glass which sadly seems to be permanently stained.

    1. I wonder; it did make our glass doors a bit cleaner but I can't do anything about the grout that's holding the glass in place.

  7. Such great purchases! I kind of like the color of sheets your son picked, think they will go with any color decor in his room he chooses otherwise.
I keep forgetting to do my Amazon prime post. Have been buying so much from Amazon in the recent months!! But it's been such a busy summer too!

    1. I figured that too! Though he often pairs what I would consider "odd" colors together.

  12. How funny because we rarely wear aprons (in fact, couldn't even find them for a while) but Rob just pulled them out and was wearing it this last week.

    1. I have only ever owned one apron and it was so stiff and uncomfortable that I got rid of it after only wearing it once. I'm hoping I'll remember to wear these ones more often.

  14. I wear aprons a lot, and they show it! They're all stained and dingy. But, that just shows they're loved, right? I've never used a pop socket before either and keep thinking I should get one.

    1. Definitely! I hope mine starts looking stained and dingy since that will mean they are well worn. I am really enjoying having a popsocket.

    1. I think that's why rely on it so much too; we don't have a ton of options for where we live either.
