Prime Purchases from May & June

I skipped the Prime Purchases link up in last month since I hadn't bought all that much in May.  I figured I'd combine our May and June purchases into one larger post. This should have still been a short post but we had so many little household thing breaking over the past month that I've needed to replace.

I bought this jumpsuit in May and I wear it all the time. It is so comfy that I often feel like I am wearing pajamas!

Alec outgrew this shirt that he had last summer and just loved so I bought him the next size up.

We needed a new door mat for the back door to try and keep the sand out of the house; this one is perfect for our house!

Alec's favorite water bottle broke and while our local Target no longer carries it, I thought to check on Amazon and sure enough I found the exact same one!

My husband had worn his belt entirely out but he loves it so much we just ordered him this exact same one again.

We heard about this spice mix while watching Dirty Jobs and wanted to try it out; I've never seen it in our local stores so we ordered a bottle.

Alec and I have been reading the Worldquake book series but this third book in the series was not available at all through our library so I ordered us a copy

The lid on our automatic trash can broke so I ordered this one to replace it.

Evan's digital clock broke so we picked out this new one to try.

I wanted to try out these plant watering globes while we were gone on vacation-- they look pretty and are easy enough to fill but I don't think they work (despite watching a Youtube video thinking I was using them wrong); each time I filled them and put them in my plants they were empty within hours not days.

Our pineapple corer broke and since we use that to cut up 4+ pineapples a week I needed a replacement quick!  This one is our favorite.

I bought this travel jewelry holder for vacation but have yet to use it so I can't attest to how well it works. (though it was much larger than I pictured--- am I the only one that sometimes forgets to read the FULL description?)

I saw Leslie mention a sunglass headband and knew I had to try it out; regular headbands rarely work well for me but I am always using my sunglasses as a headband.  The slightly square shape really does hold my hair back much like sunglasses do!

I bought this multiplug outlet for travel; but again, have yet to use it.

  1. Great buys! That sunglass headband is interesting! I'm sorry the globe watering things didn't work. I love a good seasoning blend but I also learned to make my own blackening seasoning and it's so good and easy so it makes me think what other ones I could make.

    1. I really like how it fits! I tend to make a lot of my own seasoning blends but so far can't seem to make a great fish/seafood one yet.

  3. I also recently saw a sunglasses type headband, but the one I saw was really thin. I want one now, but I need to try it first, with my thick hair. I love the jumpsuit on you! It does look super comfy.

    1. Aw, thank you! I was hoping to show a photo of me using the headband since I have worn it a few times but I must have only worn it on vacation (where we had no mirrors for selfies!).

  4. The sunglasses headband is smart! I love how Amazon makes it easy to search for the item you bought previously if you want the same thing again.

  5. It's too bad the water globe things didn't work. What a great concept and how cool would they be if they worked!

    1. It really is! I have packed it for every vacation we've been on too; and sometimes I wear it to bum around the house and other times I've worn it out to dinner.

  11. My mom used to use those watering bulbs. I'm not sure if she ever got them to work properly either but they did look pretty in the plants haha. I hope you have a great 4th!
