Favorite Spring and Summer Clothing Items from Amazon

 I didn't buy much of anything on Amazon this past month-- a few boring things like granola bars, vitamins, toilet paper, etc.  But nothing that felt worthy of a blog post.  So I thought for this month's Prime Purchases I'd show some of my all time favorite spring and summer clothes I've bought off of Amazon these past few years. 



1. I have this shirt in two different colors and I might honestly buy it in a third. I love the shorter front and longer back and the chiffon material is so nice and airy that it was even comfy walking around Disney last August (and it was HOT!). 


2. Another cute chiffon blouse is this tie front with the ruffle sleeves. I bought it in June of 2020 and it's held up real well too. 



3. I bought this tank top in 2020 as well and I just love it!  It pairs so well with everything and the ruffled neckline is so cute. 



4. The denim halter top is wonderful (though I do NOT recommend wearing it on any water rides! LOL.  The wet denim was so scratchy walking around Universal last summer). 





5. This off the shoulder swiss dot top is another favorite of mine; I just love the big bell sleeves!  Though I've worn it a lot I can't seem to find a photo of me wearing it!



6. I've only worn this jumpsuit once since it's pretty dressy but I just LOVE it!  




7. Though this cold shoulder top has sleeves they are sheer and the chiffon material makes it perfect for summer in New England. 




8. I have both a couple of short sleeve and sleeveless tops in this style and since it comes in a variety of colors.. I have the same style in 3/4 length sleeve too and while it's a cotton material it's the only photo I could find with this style. 




9. Another tank that I bought in 2020 and just loved-- so much so I've debated about buying it in another color. 



10. I have never liked short shorts or elastic waist... but I bought this pair on a whim and I just loved them.  In fact I immediately bought a few more! 




11. I have had this skirt for 3 years now and I just LOVE it.  




12. I don't usually wear dresses either but I do like this wrap dress; it feels comfy but the style makes it a perfect date night outfit and easy to dress up a bit. 




13. I have these tanks in many colors-- many, many.. they are nice and basic and comfy but they come in so many cute colors.




14. These shorts are comfy and I like they are just a bit longer.




15. These capri jeans are fabulous and so nice and flexible.

      Thank you! I do find a lot of clothing off Amazon now; it can take some searching but I love that once I find something I really like it's quick and easy to go back and order it in another color or pattern.

      I did size up on the dress since it's a very clingy material/style but I do like it; it looks great paired with a jean jacket or a cardigan too.

    You can get some really nice clothes from Amazon. I have bought several things over the years.

      Thank you! I am trying to be more intentional about wearing dresses but it's hard when we tend to go hiking nearly every day and then I have to change.... and rarely bother to change back.

      Thank you! I find that the more I've bought and kept the better their recommendations for me are; plus I often just look up the brand and see what else they make.

    Hi Jo - I was very impressed with the size of your wardrobe and those lovely outfits. I've been reducing my clothes buying since I stopped work and I've become a huge fan of thrift shopping. I snap up a couple of bargains everytime I go - and often find tops I could never have afforded to buy new. It gives my wardrobe some variety without my feeling guilty for spending too much on things I don't wear all the time - and save me wearing the same few outfits over and over and over again!

      Yes, that is a wonderful way to add to your wardrobe. I worked in a consignment shop during college and think I spent a large portion of my pay check on clothing each week but I just could not pass up the bargains!

      Thank you! I swear nearly 3/4 of my spring and summer wardrobe is made of chiffon. It's such a light breezy fabric that rarely wrinkles.

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. Movies like Mom's Night Out, Christmas Vacation, and Grown Ups make me laugh out loud. 7.  When my boys were youn

Would You Rather; Fall Edition

I was looking for a quick and fun blog post when I stumbled upon this graphic on Pinterest.  I stopped by Life By Wyetha's blog and found so many great Would You Rather and printable game ideas for parties.  It's a really fun blog and you should definitely check it out (here!) .  With her permission, I'm using her adorable graphic for today's post.  As always, I've circled my answers and, of course, will go into even more detail below.   Other than a few football games when I was in high school, I've never even watched football so my obvious answer was movies!  I don't like scary movies though so you'll find me watching things like Runaway Bride, Stepmom, Love Story, Autumn in New York, St. Elmo's Fire, Good Will Hunting, etc.  While I love iced tea, I only drink hot tea when I'm sick.  I much prefer a mug of cocoa!  When my boys were younger we used to visit a corn maze (and a different one at that!) each fall.  We have so many near us.  They
