Winter Photo Challenge 2023
I hadn't been motivated to take all that many photos once winter hit; I rarely do since I feel like we spend more time at home and everything in nature seems so dead and brown. So when I saw this photo challenge on Leslie's blog I thought it sounded like fun and decided to join her. I didn't get every photo taken but I did find something to fit most categories.

Great photos! For a season spent largely indoors, you were still able to get many great shots. The beauty of winter is evident as well; it's definitely more subtle than in the "colorful" seasons but it is there and you captured it.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo many great shots! Love all of the treats- a wintertime staple for sure :)
ReplyDeleteI really do find we bake so much more in the winter.
DeleteI definitely need a challenge to keep creative photography going! I think I see challah - my recipe? :)
ReplyDeleteYes! That is your recipe. :) It's always my "go to!"
DeleteIt is so hard to take photos during the winter with everything being so dull and bleak. You have got some fantastic photos though.
ReplyDeleteIt really is; I find it's the season I am least motivated to take any.
DeleteThe "pattern" picture is my favorite! The contrast of the branches against that bright blue sky - stunning!

DeleteCrack me up that LOVE was bread. I think my husband would approve, haha.

I don't! But I have been thinking of blowing up one or two and hanging them around the house or perhaps even using a bunch to make some calendars for 2024.
DeleteSometimes we need a little external motivation. Your certainly rose to the challenge with there great photos, Joanne.
