Encouraging Hearts and Home: By the Book

I nearly titled this post Buy the Book but I so rarely buy books anymore it seemed hypocritical of me.  I rely on our library, my Kindle first free reads, and my Libby app to keep me well supplied with books.  That said we've always had a lot of overstuffed bookcases in our house.  My middle son has a few in his room and we have books tucked into all sorts of corners of our house.  I love reading and it's something I've always tried to pass onto my boys. I was struck by a few posts that were shared last week all about books and stories so I decided to feature them today.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  1. I like the pun you thought of ;). I rarely buy books either and rely on the library. Why just accumulate more stuff? The biggest exception for me is non fiction books. I like to own those so I can mark on them.

    1. Yes, I do prefer to buy non-fiction books so I can write in them too. BUT I so rarely read any non-fiction anymore.

    1. Our electricity goes out on the regular but usually it's too dark to read when we do!
