I found that I much prefer taking photos and practicing my photography when I have a few prompts to keep me looking for unusual things... so I went looking for photo challenge ideas to create my own little photo challenge for October.
Here are a few categories I mashed together from various fall photo challenges on Pinterest and my accompanying photos

Great photos! The rain one just may be my favorite. And I think I took an almost identical photo as your red berries one when I was hiking in PA not long ago. So pretty! Did you take these with your camera phone or a dSLR? It is amazing how good some phone cameras are but I will always be partial to "real" camera photos (while respecting and appreciating good camera phones ;)).
ReplyDeleteI used a combination of my "real" camera and my phone (I know the chowder was taken with my phone).
DeleteI love your photos. Well done. Regine

I don't recognize these prompts from iSpy. Are they from another photography challenge? I am hoping to get my iSpy and Sunday Stills post published on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. But I am struggling to find some of the prompts. What do you do when you can't find something to represent one of your prompts?
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty pictures here. The spider web is especially magical!! And the fog. We never have that here. Love the shot for rain...it looks like a watercolor painting. And your leaf and leaves, both beautiful. We don't have many of those around here either.
I put together my own photography challenge using a few different photography challenges I had pinned to my Pinterest board. Sometimes when I can't find something to fit a prompt I do a Google search and a dictionary check of the word to give myself broader ideas.
DeleteJoanne, these are fantastic pictures. I love how you caught the intricacies of the spider web.
ReplyDeleteVisiting today from Encouraging Hearts& Home #20&21
