Encouraging Hearts and Home: Second Week of January

This second week of January has been a chilly one.  My husband and son built us some new wood racks and we've been keeping our woodstove going 'round the clock.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

    1. We typically only get the woodstove going when we're having a really cold spell to help us cut down on heating costs. I would LOVE it even more if our basement furniture came in; somehow I think that woodstove would be going much more often and Evan and I would snuggle up to do his schoolwork down there.

  9. Our new house has a gas fire place. We just flip the switch. It is quite a change from our wood burning fireplace.

    1. It can be quite messy. I'm hopeful our new wood racks will cut down on some of the messiness.
