A Few Of Our Favorite Things We Bought This year
I had such a hard time focusing and writing this list. I have so many favorite things-- foods, clothing items, movies, etc.
I finally settled on writing up a list of all my favorite Amazon finds from the year. I nearly had a heart attack when I went to Amazon and typed in orders from 2021 to find that I placed 327 orders... so far! Yep, I buy pretty much everything on Amazon aside from our groceries.
That said I narrowed it down to our favorite "things" purchased this year so no food or clothing will be included.
1. My kayak holder! I just love this stand and all the space it now saves on our patio.
2. Evan's new computer desk is so well made and it was easy to assemble too. I love all the wrought iron looking accents.
3. We bought this set of non-stick frypans back in February and they still are scratch free and work so well; even without adding oil I find that things rarely stick to them.
4. We bought this cordless vacuum to use in our bedrooms and I love how light it is; plus it seems to work really well.
5. Speaking of vacuums, we also bought this robot one for our downstairs and ended up buying a second one for the finish basement (and a few more as Christmas gifts too!).
6. This air mattress came in so handy when my husband was sick with Covid. I slept on it for nearly a week and it stays inflated really well!
7. We bought a set of these grill baskets and they have been so handy for grilling up large batches of diced veggies on the grill. With stainless steel construction they are nice and easy to clean too.
8. Speaking of stainless steel, I also bought these stainless steel cookie sheets and I just love them! Dishwasher safe and scrub-able they are fantastic (though I do use parchment paper on them so I can't attest to whether they are non-stick of not.
9. I am loving my newest bamboo plant stand and have even gotten a few compliments on it too. It was easy to assemble nd holds up to 6 plants.
10. We decided to forgo a full size fridge in our basement kitchenette and bought a mini fridge for the area instead. We like this one so much; it keeps temperature well and it was large enough to store our turkey at thanksgiving time too (though it only held the turkey and nothing else).

Those pans are great and you can't go wrong with a robo vac!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I figured!
DeleteI definitely kept Amazon in business this year too! Great finds for your best of - thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I'm going to cut back on my shopping but I never seem to..
DeleteThat kayak holder is perfect and I love the blue skillets!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThat's almost a purchase a day! Glad you have some great items to show for it.
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness when you put it like that-- it's awful! LOL.
DeleteI love that bamboo plant stand!! I'm hoping to take my crazy plant lady status to another level next year and I'd love to have something like that to put by the window. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love it and when it came time to put up our tree it just rolled easily to the corner of the room!
DeleteThese are great purchases! Love the bamboo plant shelf! The air bed looks really good and high quality.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing! We haven't owned an air mattress in forever and I LOVE that it self inflates with just an outlet.
DeleteThat plant cart is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteIt is great! I have some really large plants and wasn't sure if it would have a hard time with the weight of them but it's holding up great.
DeleteWe love our robot vacuum and use him everyday!! What a great idea for a post.

We do too!
DeleteI enjoyed your list. I was actually just scrolling through my Amazon orders for the past year looking for something I wanted to reorder and thought about making a list of my favorites. Maybe before years end. We just bought a grow light for some outdoor plants my husband is determined to keep alive indoors. It's kind of cool looking but we will have to see if it's enough for plant survival lol
ReplyDeleteI hope it works!!
DeleteChecking out those pans - I need some new ones badly!
ReplyDeleteWe did too; ours were just awful.
DeleteI signed up to Amazon Prime a couple of weeks ago by accident and I have really made the most of it.
ReplyDeleteYou have made some great buys. I am fancying one of those robot vacuums and I love that bamboo plant stand x
My mother in law bought us a subscription one year as a joint gift to my hubby and I and keep renewing it for us each year. It's dangerous but good to have; we really don't have much near us for store selection.
DeleteI really want a cordless vacuum. It would make it so much easier to get around the house when vacuuming.
ReplyDeleteYes! I fully admit I was just awful at always running over the cord and then having to wrap the cord in electrical tape too. I like that this one is lightweight to carry up and down the stairs with ease too if we need it.
DeleteI would love a cordless vacuum even though we only have one area with rug in our house. But I really dislike our current vacuum. And that plant stand is really interesting looking -- I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe cordless vacuum we bought has attachments for hardwood floors too that seems to work pretty well. We don't have much carpeting in our house but we do have a few area rugs.
DeleteJoanne,

DeleteI love reading about favorite things that are bought. Thank you for the reviews, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteGreenLife pans are great! I have a few at the shore
ReplyDeleteI love them!
DeleteSome day I will have kayaks and a kayak holder!
ReplyDeleteYour son looks very happy with his cool new desk! Looks great!
Best of all was the fact that he saved up to buy his own computer and desk!
DeleteI had to laugh at the Amazon comment because I had a similar reaction when I looked back at my Amazon purchase history. I love that desk and am very excited about those pans. I considered a cordless vac but wound up getting a wet/dry vacuum (from Target) instead.
ReplyDeleteFunny enough, we debated a wet/dry vacuum too (but we do have a wet/dry vac in the garage for when we really need it).
