Photos of the Week: November 27th
I was so focused on Thanksgiving and getting our house decorated for Christmas on Friday that I forgot all about this challenge until late last night. Not wanting to skip one of these I Spy challenges I decided to cull through my photos of the week and see what I could come up with!
– festivities-- Getting ready for the festivities this week with a floral centerpiece.
– food-- We made our favorite chocolate chip pecan pie this week
– free-- Hiking is the best form of free entertainment.
– fortune-- I pulled together the perfect Thanksgiving outfit without spending a fortune!
– your choice

DeleteThe view from your deck takes my breath away!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOkay, that pie sounds (and looks) absolutely phenomenal! Color me jealous! Have you ever posted the recipe before?
ReplyDeleteI have! (though the photos are awful and was my whole point in snapping a few this week-- just so I could update it!). https://www.myslicesoflife.com/2017/12/chocolate-chip-pecan-pie-recipe.html
DeleteHello! I'm visiting from "Inspire Me Mondays". I made a pecan pie for Thanksgiving as well but no chocolate chips. Yours sounds very yummy and I'm sure I'd love it! Perhaps, when you get a chance you'll swing by for some music. Have a boogietastic day.
ReplyDeleteThank you! My son made the pie and it was a huge hit.
DeleteI'm always impressed with your photos, and even more so with these, as they were "pulled together." They don't look that way! I love your flowers and the view of your lake is always amazing.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteSuper photos---I know it's hard to blog when you are busy with company/holiday---I sometimes forget to take photos---all mine have family in them for the weekend---but that IS what it is all about. Darn that pie looks delicious and lethal...lol. Sandi
ReplyDeleteI am the exact opposite! I have zero photos taken with our family in it this weekend. I tend to snap photos before everyone arrives but then just don't think to pick up my camera while everyone is gathered together.
DeleteLove the festive theme here!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your photos of the week!! Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie

DeleteThat pie is as pretty as the nature photos. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat pecan pie looks delicious (I've never tasted pecan pie - it's not really an Aussie dish) but I'd be tempted to try yours. And the photo of your deck still brings me a twinge of envy. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is very sweet but very good. I like the crunch of pecans on just about anything.
DeleteI love those floral arrangements!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteTerrific images. Love the flowers and the last scene a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
