Currently... September 2021

It's September 1st  and time to link up with Anne for what we're currently... beginning, ending, loving, picking, and posting.

beginning-- School!  All three boys started school.  Evan is homeschooling with me again this year, Alec is starting his sophomore year in high school and Ian is 1/2 homeschooling and 1/2 taking college courses (mostly online) to finish up his senior year.

ending-- Our summer.  While we still have warm days for a few more weeks usually labor day weekend and the start of school is our unofficial ending of summer and our thoughts turn to fall, schoolwork, and routines/ schedules.

loving
-- These new Enlightened bars I found. My old favorites, the cold brew coffee ones, have been out of stock for months on end so I decided to try the salted caramel bars and I am LOVING them! They make such a tasty 3 point snack on WW.

picking-- Apples!  I love apple picking time and we probably end up at the orchard at least once a week starting with labor day weekend (though we typically only pick apples once during the fall we buy apples and other goodies like cider donuts from the local orchards often right up through Thanksgiving if the crops hold).

posting-- My usual rounds of monthly wrap up posts-- Starting with last Wednesday and my What's Up Wednesday post, my book reviews of August, our monthly menu, and continuing next week with my prime purchases and sentence a day post.

I love cider donuts. We have a farm near where Ellie rides horses that make them YEAR-ROUND. :)

    1. It was so good! I both love and hate that our orchard makes them fresh right there on site as they taste so good but the smell is so hard to ignore.
