Some Amazon Clothing Favorites

 I swore to myself I wasn't go to buy any summer clothes this year... but then last year's clothes just didn't fit right.  I am still struggling to lose the weight I put on after my surgery last fall and needed an in between size of clothing I didn't have.  

I found that by mixing in just a few pieces of new clothing (most of them from Amazon) that I could make some of what I did have work and gave me some fresh new favorites.



Now I will be linking up what items I can find but these aren't affiliate links as I have removed all monetization from my blog (it's just easier for me not to worry about it at all).  

These shorts are so comfortable and I love the button detail on the front.  I ended up ordering a second pair in gray!

Paired with a simple v-neck tee from Target that is at least a few years old


I also have gotten quite a bit of use out of that color blocked shirt as it pairs nicely with shorts, hiking pants and even leggings.


Speaking of hiking pants I have these in a few different colors and lengths; I just love them!

My sister bought this tank top for me years ago and I just LOVE it!



I ordered a few halter tanks and really liked both this pretty floral one 


I found these cute capri pants at Talbot's last year when I went birthday shopping



and this adorable denim/ chambray one that goes with everything!


I must have a "thing" for buttons this season as I also bout this adorable 3 button tank.  I liked it so much that I bought a second one in a pretty floral print too.  They are great with shorts with leggings. 



I like these plain tank top sets that I bought 3 of them (for a total of 6 tanks).  They are nice and long with a higher neck than most and nice thick straps.

    You have some adorable tops! Love the halter style ones! It is only the 5th and I am already struggling with my attempt to not buy any clothes till the end of August lol! The hiking pants are really cool too.

    These are all great picks! I never wear halter tops but they look so nice on you! I'm really loving that floral one! And I always like button features!

    I've not purchased any new clothes this summer. I was shocked when I was to pick just 33 items to keep in my closet for the 3 months (for my 333 minimalist closet project) at how many summer items I have and love. So nothing new for me.

      Oh I bet! We don't do much bike riding anymore; my 3 boys have all outgrown their bikes and new ones are nearly impossible to find.

      Ugh! I Hate when that happens.. though if I'm honest for every 2 or 3 pieces I keep I'm usually returning 2-3. My husband thinks it's rather funny actually. I think it's a bit annoying so when I do find something I like I tend to go back and buy it in another color.

    Hey, I love all of your looks but that chambray halter is one of my favorites. You wear it so well and your hair is adorable pulled back like that. And I love the simplicity and sassiness of that white tank and the blue jeans. Hope you pack that for your getaway with the hubs.

    Amazon really has some wonderful pieces! I really like that 3 button tank top. The halter tops look so great on you, too. I have trouble with that style, but I really do like it on others! Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6.  Since the 10th falls on a Sunday this month (and I don't blog on the weekends) I thought I'd share my 10 on the 10th a bit early. I love that it also coincides with Friday Favorites since Marsha's 10 on the 10th is often one of my favorite prompts to answer.  Rather than asking us specific questions this month, Marsha has asked us to share 10 things we like to do or eat in November. I thought I'd actually share 10 of each! What's Up Wednesday in November

It's the last Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for What's Up Wednesday. This will be my last post of the month but I'll be back on Monday the 2nd with some of my favorite Prime Purchases of the year.  What We're Eating: Sunday: Steak (and tofu) stir-fry over rice Monday: Weight Watcher's American Chop Suey  with salad Tuesday: Crock pot Philly cheesesteak grinders with chips and salad Wednesday: Pumpkin pancakes with fruit and bacon Thursday: Our menu hasn't changed since 2020..Though we will sub out the crescent rolls for some homemade bread/rolls that Alec's cooking up for us.  Friday: Leftover turkey pie Saturday: One of our favorite soup recipes; though I'm not sure which one yet!
