Encouraging Hearts and Home: Celebrating Summer

It has been HOT these past few days-- weather in the 90's and so humid that it even feels a bit wet and sticky inside the house (with the air conditioning on).  I have been reminded of our trips to Charleston, SC in the summer or Florida in early September.  Luckily our temperatures should be breaking soon with some storms moving through our area but we have definitely been thinking summer here!  All of my features from last week's party celebrate summer.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  1. It's hot here too and it won't change till September October time. Even the dog that my son walks was complaining! Thanks so much for hosting.

    1. I'm rather glad that our weather changes rather often; we tend to have pretty warm weather in the summer but not usually hot.

  2. This little heat wave is finally breaking here as well. Although we rarely hit 90 where I live so I can't really complain about our summer weather. In fact, the majority of our summer days in northern NY are probably below 80. It's the winter that kills me! Stay cool, my friend!

    1. That sounds wonderful... but yeah, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like those winter temps. It's the same problem we have every time we talk about moving. I love New Hampshire and parts of Maine but I can't imaging lasting through their winters.

    1. Ours have pretty much been all over the place all spring and summer. They're now predicting temps in the low 60's this weekend! Nothing like a 30 degree difference in a week. LOL.

  5. We're coming to the end of a heat wave too. Great for my garden, but rough on the one who weeds it!

    1. Oh I bet! While we get hot spells in summer they rarely last more than a few days to a week. Our summers tend to be more mild.
