Nature Inspired Photos of the Week: March 27th
I spy #12 was so much fun for me! We spent lots of time outside hiking and walking and exploring. All my photos this week were taken from the nature around me.
– spring? With temperatures that hover in the 20's in the morning it's not always easy to remember it's spring. We have lots of foggy mornings when the sun comes out and begins to warm things up.
– folded I loved the texture of these folded leaves we saw on our walk.
– open One of the trails we hiked this week opened up to this beautiful lake
– alone Ian and I had so much fun watching this bird of prey try to catch fish and then perch, alone, in the tree waiting for another opportunity (we're pretty sure it's a juvenile bald eagle).
– your choice The first turtles we've seen this season sunning themselves on a log.
Wow - you live in such a beautiful area!

DeleteAmazing pictures for the prompts! I have nothing yet for several and honestly not sure I'll be able to come up with any. When I though of "folding" all I could think of is "folded laundry" and I wasn't about to take a picture of that LOL. Your picture for that prompt is so creative and beautifully taken!
ReplyDeleteI was immediately thinking of laundry too!
DeleteWow your nature photos are so gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteNature photography is my favourite! Your captures are just stunning. The mist over the water is beautiful and the pic of the bald eagle is awesome! x
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteNature really is an amazing thing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos.
The foggy mornings are a mixture of beautiful and rather eerie.
How exciting to see the turtles. x
It can be quite eerie; sometimes the fog is so thick we can't see anything beyond our own house and beach!
DeleteAll beautiful photos, love the foggy scene and the folded leaves - great inspiration

DeleteLovely images - I like your treatment of both close-ups and bigger pic captures (I'm not sure what the proper term is).
ReplyDeleteThe first image is my favourite: the reflections, the fog are so mysterious and atmospheric.
Aw, thank you!
DeleteYou did great on this week's challenge!!!!! Love how you took some of these prompts! I struggled a bit more. That foggy morning water view is breathtaking!!!

Everything is just starting to bloom and we're seeing more and more birds (and icky snakes too) around. I just love it.
