I Spy Saturdays #3

We had such a week of long gray days that I was feeling rather unmotivated to take photos which made this week's photography challenge extra challenging!  But I rallied in a big way at the end of the week and took lots of photos in just a few days.

– ordinary day (Alec distance learning as seen through our French doors; just an ordinary day of learning during a pandemic)

– favorite (my favorite thing I ate this week was Alec's homemade croissants; they were so nice and flaky)

– candle (not having many candles around the house I really struggled with this capture until I remembered the hanging lantern by the fireplace)

– brings me joy (the beautiful colors we see at sunrise)

– black & white (Dusting of snow in the garden)

    1. They were amazing! He made them 100% on his own and I swear they are some of the best tasting croissants I've ever had.

  3. Such beautiful photography! I especially love "the ordinary day" one. Picturing your son on his computer "behind a cage" is very representative of current times.

    1. We have blue skies today but it so cold that our heat has not shut off once yet! But I'll take the cold if I can have blue skies and sun... as long as the warmth comes back soon. LOL

  13. School is back in much of Australia this week and classes are at the school. I sure hope teachers do not have to go back to providing at home lessons and some for classrooms. So far COVID is being contained and watched with changes as required. Your photos are a delight being from a completely different place in the world from mine!

    1. We have been back in the building for school since the second week of January but the students take turns based on grade level and last name... though today every will be virtual since we got a decent amount of snow last night!
