I Spy Saturdays #2

I'm joining up with Lysha over at A Camera and a Cookbook  for her weekly I Spy challenge.  I am loving this photography challenge!  Having a full week to take 5 photos is working out well for me and I have been challenging myself to only use my "real" camera for them.

 – parts (one of my favorite parts of my day)

– hungry
(this is why I should never go shopping when I'm hungry)

– details (I love how many more details I can see with my camera versus my naked eye)

– home (nothing says "home" to me like curling up in front of the fireplace)

– sky (I just love the pretty colors of sunrise and sunset)

  1. That fireplace does look cozy! I also love good chocolate. And what a beautiful water picture! I love the way water photographs.

  2. Oh I love your interpretation of parts. And I love your sky picture. Ours were boring grey all week. Ugh.

    1. Thank you! "Parts" really threw me.. all week I was mumbling that word under my breath.

  3. Like the way you thought out of the box with some of these. Of course, that baby waterfall photo and the sky photo are gorgeous. Mother Nature at her best. I think I will follow your good lead and get my good camera out for these photos. I am going to try to link up twice a month and share 2 weeks worth of photos.

  10. So many great photos. The sky pic is gorgeous! What a beautiful shade of pink. For home, I wanted to take a pic of roaring fire, but it wasn't really cold enough for one last week. Thanks so much for joining in on the photo fun!

    1. Thank you! I could not believe the incredible colors of the sky; in truth my son and I were disappointed that the colors weren't as vivid in the camera!

  13. This is such a fun photos challenge! I love all the details you capture with your camera, too! I really like the photo for "parts" although at first glance I thought the book title was "Christmas in Parts" and I thought how clever! Haha. Then I realized it said "Christmas in Paris"! Still a fabulous picture because that is also my favorite part of the day! Thanks for linking with me!

    1. Ha! That would have been perfect if my book had "parts" in its title!
