Friday Favorites: 5 Favorites of the Week

I'm trying out a new format for my Friday Favorites; just picking a literal favorite moment or thing that crossed my mind this week.  I'm not sure I'll stick with it long term but hopefully I will!  I figure this way my sentence of the day posts won't overlap so much with my Friday Favorites.

This view is always a favorite... even when waking to a frozen lake which means it's COLD outside

I am loving my new Christmas Vacation puzzle.  It was easy to put together with only 300 pieces.

These new Snickerdoodle Lindt's-- have you tried them?  They are fantastic.  White chocolate with bits of crunchy cinnamon snickerdoodles mixed in.  I'm already on my second bag of the season!  Thank goodness I share with the boys and my husband or my jeans would never fit again.

My younger sister started selling Color Street nails and she gave me a free sample with my first order.  I am just loving how easy they are to apply (the glitter ones are the sample). So far I've had them on for 6 days and they've lasted better than my actual nail polish!

I received this in the mail this week! I had won a giveaway from Sarah at Sunshine and Books and couldn't wait more than a few hours before diving into my new book.

We put up some snowflake clings on the windows and I just love how festive it makes all the rooms feel.

Sorry, I know this isn't the greatest picture but white window clings don't show against white snow in the background very easily!

  2. What a fun puzzle! I love a good puzzle, but sometimes I just don’t have the patience for 300 tiny puzzle pieces! 😂 The glittery nail polish color is beautiful! Those snickerdoodle lindts look so good! The candy I that I eat WAY too much of at Christmas, is always Hershey’s kisses, I can’t stay away from them! Happy Friday!

    1. I am not a Hershey kiss fan at all unless they are pressed into peanut butter cookies! One thing I really liked about this 300 piece puzzle was that the pieces were actually quite large.

  4. Such a fun puzzle! I used to do puzzles all the time, maybe I will have to start up again. Although I am more a fan of milk chocolate, those Lindt candies sound pretty good!

  7. This is a great list, lots of fun Christmas things. I am still reading a more serious book but I'm hoping to pick up a lighter holiday read before Christmas.

    1. I was so skeptical about Colorstreet because I used Jamberry nail wraps for quite awhile and never got them to stick on my nails for more than a day or two; apparently I was told I have oily nail beds. But I haven't had any problems with Colorstreet; other than working on getting them sized right.

  12. I always enjoy random posts of whatever comes to mind. What a pretty puzzle! Your nails looks great. I need to redo mine. One of the boys advent calendar days is going to be to make paper snowflakes. I love the idea of the cling ones. My husband loves snickerdoodles. I should get these for him.

    1. We used to make paper snowflakes all the time; we often started out with coffee filters since they're already round and the light shines through them just a bit.
