Last year (in 2019) when we visited friends on our summer vacation, my friend and I kept joking about trying to get the "1,000 piece puzzle shot." I would say that some of these are DEFINITELY 1,000 piece puzzle shots! They're beautiful and you captured the colours so well.
OH MY GOSH!!! Frame all of these. Open your Etsy shop and start selling your photography. Simply stunning. The colors. The quiet water yielding mirror perfect reflections...hey, I like that sentence!! Just beautiful.
We did have a beautiful fall this year, didn't we? The lake photos are gorgeous. Loved seeing the leaves turning in your neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing.

We bought so much on Amazon during November and December for Christmas that I could not possibly share it all but I thought I would share a few of the highlights-- a few of our favorites gifts that we gave and received too. My new jewelry cabinet/mirror. I bought Alec this Bread making book and we can't wait to try out all the different bread recipes! We used this handy cookie cutter set to make our own sugar cookie house this year. While I can't way it is the best set on the market it certainly got the job done! Alec and I spent an afternoon putting a few vinyl cling snowflake s in all our living room & dining room windows and it added such a fun little touch for winter. My husband loves his meat hooks ; so far we've used them on pulled pork and I hope to make some pulled chicken next week. I got a new booklight after mine broke and I really like that it's rechargeable. We're planning on making hot cocoa bombs and bought this mold pan . I found Al
I have a LONG list of favorites for you today! Not having posted any sort of favorites post since December 18th I tried to keep this list short and sweet. Next week I'll switch back to my old Friday Favorites format where I give a little wrap up of our week but here are some of our favorite moments and highlights of the past few weeks: 1. We finally got to try out our new show shoes! We had the best time hiking some of our favorite trails at Pulaski park. The woods are so pretty with all the snow clinging to the trees. 2. Alec finished up his school with a 1/2 day on Wednesday and we got right to baking. He made Heath bar/eggnog cheesecakes, buttery fresh croissants, and butterscotch truffles. It was all so delicious! We enjoyed so much wonderful food the whole Christmas season. 3. We spent a really fun Christmas eve at my mom's opening gifts, playing games, eating pizza, and visiting with family. 4. We were so thankful to still have power when we woke up Christmas morni
I set a goal last month to try and read 10 books this month so I could end my year with an even 116 books read. It wasn't a hard goal to meet either with so many cute holiday novels to read. I sprinkled in lots of non-holiday novels too and found lots of great books to wrap up my year with. 1. American Royals II: Majesty by Katharine McGee - - I know many bloggers were disappointed in this second book of the royals series but I thought it was just as cute as the first. So much drama and misunderstanding unfolding between all the characters from the first book just as Beatrice moves forwards towards her wedding date. 2. Wings of Fire: Winter Turning by Tui T. Sutherland -- Alec convinced me to read the second book in the series I started last month and I thought it was equally adorable. I really like how each book in the series focuses on a different dragon and is told from their perspective that way you really get to know their personalities. The dragons are working toget
