The Feels in June

I can not believe another month has passed us by!  The time is just flying by and while I know we had a good month I really struggled to fill in my list this time around.

Today, I'm linking up with X-tremely V  for The Feels and though the questions are the same each month the answers are always different since they're based only on our current month.

Favorite Meal-- Terriyaki chicken, grilled cheesy potatoes, corn on the cob, and salad.

Favorite Movie/ TV Show/ Book--

Movie: 2012 (to be honest it's the only movie I can remember watching this month).

Tv Show: Dexter; it's not my normal genre of show but I just can not stop watching it!

Favorite Activity: Kayaking!  The weather has just been perfect for leisurely kayak rides.

Favorite Moment:
Surprising my husband with new chairs for Father's day. I don't normally manage to surprise him or come up with great gift ideas so that was really fun... and those chairs are so comfy!

Goal for July: Get in at least one fun day trip for my birthday!

Anything else that made June feel good: These relaxing mornings eating breakfast outside in the peace and quiet.

How was your June?!

    1. All of those spots are reached right from our house (we just went in a few different directions). I do love the warmer but not HOT temps of June!

  5. How was the Demi book? I want to read the Carole Radziwill (sp?) book What Remains. It's an old one but I have always wanted to read it. I love autobiographies.
I want to get a kayak or a canoe. We have a little pond near our home and it always looks like so much fun.

  6. So many people rave about Dexter, but I'm just not sure I would be able to watch it. I don't like anything too disturbing or anything and it seems like that might be?? I may need to watch the first couple of episodes and see!

    1. I actually have a harder time watching Gray's with all the operation photos than I have had yet watching Dexter. I am squeamish about blood and guts and since he only hunts down bad guys I didn't find the story line that disturbing either.

  10. Girl, you know how to live up summer! So, I’ve been on the fence about Dexter, one of our sons watched it and said that we would absolutely love it but I just don’t know, but you have me tempted!

    1. 2012 is one of those very improbable end of the world movies but I like just about anything with John Cusack in it.

  13. Mmmm... cheesy potatoes! I love corn-on-the-cob this time of year! How fun to surprise your hubby with those chairs!! Do you guys live right on the water?!?! Wow! So pretty! I would sit out there all the time!

    1. Our corn has been so good this year; usually corn season isn't quite this early but it has been delicious! We do live right on the water with both a deck and walk out basement with a large patio. I tend to pretty much live out there in the summer.
