The Feels In May

For today's post I'm linking up with X-tremely V  for The Feels and though the questions are the same each month the answers are always different since they're based only on our current month.

Favorite Meal-- I think I'd have to say this Ham and Alfredo Lasagna.  It was pretty much an experiment and we loved how it turned out.

Favorite Movie/ TV Show/ Book--

Movie: Jumanji: The Next Level

Tv Show: It's a tie between:  Council of Dads (on Hulu).  A great new tear jerking family drama.  Have you seen it?  & Sweet Magnolias (on Netflix) based off the books by  Sherryl Woods.

Book: I read the whole Beach Plum Cove series by Pamelala Kelley and I just LOVED it!

Favorite Activity: Once again I'd have to go with hiking since that's pretty much the only activity we can do.

Favorite Moment:
Finishing up Alec's room!

Goal for June: Enjoy as much time outside on the patio and deck as possible.

Anything else that made May feel good: Celebrating 19 glorious years with my husband... even if we couldn't do much to celebrate together.

  6. Hiking is fun except when you go on a longer hike than you planned and don't have your carrier: my arms hurt the next day.

    1. Yeah, or when you get lost...and don't realize it until you've been walking that trail for more than 30 minutes. We've done that a few times!

  11. Joanne, I so enjoyed this post! It's the little things, the day to day experiences, that enhance our lives and unite us all. It was lovely to get a glimpse into your life, and I love how you are Romancing The Ordinary, as author Sarah Ban Breathnach would write. I've featured your post at Hearth and Soul this week, and I'm so grateful to you for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Community! Take care.

  12. I've been meaning to watch Council of Dads. I started watching Sweet Magnolias and so far I'm not loving it. It's a show I wanted to love because I usually love shows like that.

    1. As always, I definitely think the books were better but I will watch Sweet Magnolias when I have nothing else to watch.
