3 Point Weight Watchers Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

I have enjoyed experimenting with the Weight Watchers dough and one morning I decided to try and make cinnamon rolls using that as my base.  Now I'll be honest, if you are craving a super sweet cinnabun or one of the world's best sweet rolls this isn't it.  But if you want something a little sweet without taking up all your daily points this might just hit the spot.




Ingredients (makes 6 rolls)

1 1/2 cups nonfat Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 Tablespoon Brummel and Brown Spread
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
a drop of maple extract
1 Tablespoon tap water; hot


I started with my 2 ingredient dough and rolled it nice and thin (though honestly I should have rolled it out even thinner).


I melted the Brummel and Brown spread and poured it over my dough.


Then mixed together the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkled that liberally over all the melted butter. ( I did have some leftover that would not fit on my dough)


Then I rolled it the long way until I had a nice long, thin, snake.


I lined my glass 8-inch Pyrex dish with parchment paper.


Cut my strip into 1" chunks.


And put them into the pan so that they were touching. I baked them in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes until the dough was lightly browned and cook through.


In a small bowl I combined the powdered sugar, maple extract, and water to make a delicious frosting.  Then I drizzled it over the cinnamon rolls.  They are best eaten warm!

  1. Aww man, I wanted to love this recipe but yogurt of any kind gives me headaches! I run into that a lot with WW desserts. I wonder if there is something else I can use in place of the yogurt that is also low-fat?

    1. I know you can substitute sour cream for Greek yogurt in recipes... but that would definitely change the point value under WW.

  6. I love the two-ingredient dough. I've used it for pizza crust, but nothing else. I'll have to try it for cinnamon rolls. #MMBC

  7. Good god, this is genius! I am stealing this recipe. What is Brummell and Brown spread? I have a Costco sized container of Greek yogurt in the fridge just waiting to be turned into 2-ingredient dough!
