Envouraging Hearts and Home-- Happy February

February may be the shortest month of the year but it often feels like one of the longest.  This year it has started out particularly bad with the flu hitting our house and causing us to change our vacation plans.  I should have been in sunny Florida this morning but I'm not... and while I am obviously disappointed I knew it was more important for everyone to get the rest and care they need rather than trying to traipse through a bunch of parks when we aren't all feeling 100% ourselves.

And Now, for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

    1. It really is! We were told by our healthcare providers that even those who were vaccinated are having a tough time with it this year.

    2. Aw, thank you. I was definitely bummed but knew that I had to keep a level head so everyone else would too. And you are quite welcome for your feature. :)

  4. First of all, thanks for featuring my card! I so appreciate it! But I’m sorry you had to cancel your vacation. That’s awful! I suppose it’s better than flying all the way there and then getting sick. Hopefully you’ll be able to reschedule. Thanks for the party!

    1. You are very welcome! We were afraid that if everyone go sick on vacation we'd really have missed out at that point. We have postponed it until May and we're hoping that everyone stays nice and healthy!!

  5. So sad you didn't make your trip. :( But sounds like you've got a good attitude about it. That probably helps everyone else in the family adjust better too. :)

    1. I think so. We have re-scheduled for May and I'm just trying to focus on that now. Reminding the boys the weather will be even better.

  7. ...I'm sorry to hear about the flu hitting your home. My super duper senior citizen flu shot seems to be doing the trick for me.
