Encouraging Hearts and Home-- Soaking Up the Season

With so much to do to prepare for Christmas it's not always easy to just slow down and enjoy the season but that is one of my goals each year.  I like to try and soak up as much seasonal fun as possible and focus on making memories with my family.  We make the time to watch all the holiday movies we love, we visit at least a few different places to see holiday decorations, and try to squeeze in lots of baking and crafting activities.  How do you make sure you're taking time to enjoy the holiday season?

And Now, for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

  2. I love so much about this season. Our home even feels cozier once the tree is decorated and the lights are in the windows.

  3. So cool that your post was the most viewed! That's so meta! Also, that fudge looks amazing. I'm having a hard time slowing this season down to enjoy it. We are going to do ginger bread houses tonight and I'm going to try to do at least one holiday related thing with the family each day until we get to Christmas.
