Encouraging Hearts and Home-- Spring field trips

I can not believe our month is already 1/2 way over!  I had such high hopes to squeeze in so many field trips before all the local public schools let out but the weather has just not been cooperating very much.  We have had so many cold and rainy days in our forecast it's making it rather difficult to make any plans.   We have been getting out hiking since I don't need much advance notice to plan those but am really hoping we can get a few weeks of sunny weather so we can hit up things like the Freedom Trail in Boston, Tower Hill Botanical Gardens, Battleship Cove, and even the Sub Museum.

Do you have any places your hoping to visit this spring?  Maybe you already have!  We'd love to hear about them.

    1. Must be! Because I really do feel like time passes more and more quickly each year.

  2. You always take such beautiful hikes/field trips. Although we just had a nice MOther's Day weekend getaway, we aren't planning anymore trips until fall. :( Too many house projects going on.

    1. Oh how I wish we had unlimited funds for travelling! I try to content myself with day trips but honestly it's getting so hard to think of new and/or exciting places to visit after 6 years of homeschooling. So often it feels like we've seen and done it all in our area.
