Prime Purchases in February

I tried so hard not to buy much on Amazon last month.  We had to buy a new washing machine and we planned our family vacation so I was trying hard to implement a spending freeze... unfortunately I failed.

I have been enjoying Leslie Sansone Just Walk DVD's but the only one I had was getting old so I ordered two more--  Walk to the Hits Radio Remixes & Walk to the Hits Party Songs

I fell in love with this OPI nail polish. I just love the color: Alpaca My Bags.

Evan has been waiting for months for the graphic novel of his favorite series to come out.  I surprised him with a copy and for two or three days he just would not put it down!  The lost Heir; Wings of Fire.

I bought these General's Pastel Chalk Pencils in hopes that my boys would be more willing to do art with me if their fingers weren't getting all chalky.

Evan finished up his math books for the year but seeing that it's only February we decided to buy him another set in the series.  He picked out the Key to Measurements.

    1. I pretty much fail at it all year long. I'm just being more mindful of it and trying not to spend so much money on frivolous things.

  3. This cabin fever time of year is the worst for impulse buys. Your not the only spending freeze failure :)

    1. I'm still trying to decide what we'll do for summer learning... but I just bought a ton of books for next school year so we'll either get a head start on some of those or maybe even take a whole summer off (though I don't think we've done that since we began homeschooling).

  6. Haha. Same here! We have been trying to curb spending since we've spent so much on painted kitchen cabinets and Christmas and birthdays, but I totally bought several things from Amazon anyway. Whoops.

    1. I was then hoping March might be a no spend month and ended up buying ALL the boys school books for next year yesterday so that went right out the window. LOL.

  7. I think you did pretty good on your spending! You bought things you NEEDED! I buy way too much on Amazon! Oops! Love that nail polish color. I'm sad when Fall/Winter leaves because I love wearing dark nail colors and I feel like Spring you just can't. That is the perfect Spring color!
