Virtual Refrigerator-- Etched Glass Crafts for Kids
Thanks for stopping by and joining us again this week as we host another virtual refrigerator arts and crafts link up.
I made some etched glass Christmas ornaments and the boys liked how they looked so I suggested they try making their own.
Evan picked out a mason jar mug at the craft store and watched to etch his name into the side. I helped him cut it out on the Cricut. He weeded it so we had a stencil of his name left.
We put it on the mug and put tape all around it. Then he glopped on the etching cream nice and thick.
We let the cream sit on it for 5 minutes then rinsed it off. We pulled off the tape and stencil to reveal his name.
Alec picked out a candle holder and wanted to combine the word lumiere with a few flame designs. He drew the flame designs free hand and I transferred his design to some vinyl to make a stencil.

Now without further ado I invite you to grab a "magnet" and link up your arts and crafts posts below
and visit some other bloggers to see what they shared on their refrigerators.

Your art project doesn't need to be a stand alone post, nor does it need to be a tutorial. We love day in the life posts or homeschooling wrap- ups that show art work too!
So what do you have to share with us?
