Love to Learn-- Getting Out In Nature

The very first homeschooling activity my boys and I ever did was join up with a group of fellow homeschoolers for a nice long hike in the woods.

Since then we have been trying to go hiking once a week or at a minimum one a month.  We enjoy getting out in the woods and we learn something each and every time; even when we're walking in the same woods season after season.

We just went on a hike this past Wednesday and enjoyed some unseasonably warm weather.  We had a wonderful time and observed a few signs of spring.

What have you been up to?  I'd love to hear from you either in the comments or by linking up your own blog post!  Please join us!

    1. I can not wait for our weather to turn a bit warmer either; we're getting some snow this week so I am doubly glad we took the time to head out last week. It might have to last us for a bit.

  3. We hike once a week, too! Too bad we don't live closer, we could do it together!
