Love to Learn-- Christmas Decorations, Movies, and Fun.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We decorated our tree and put out all of our decorations over Thanksgiving weekend. We are well and truly into our month of Christmas fun.  During the month of December we put most of our books away and focus on craft projects, baking holiday goodies, watching Christmas movies, and reading Christmas stories.

You might want to check out a few of our themed schooling days from the past.

We had a Grinch Day (here) where we worked on Grinch themed worksheets, made Whoville trees, Grinch ornaments and green cookies to eat while watching our movie.

And a really fun Prancer day (here) where we watched the movie Prancer while eating reindeer cookies, we made pet reindeer, and read a really cute story about a little reindeer.

Now I'd love to see what you've been up to.  How do you handle learning through the holiday season?

    1. Thank you! Believe it or not this is not my favorite time of the year but I find focusing on little crafts and moments of the season helps me find some joy.
