Cards I Made in April

Image
I made a half dozen cards in April but no scrapbook pages so this will be a nice and short post this month. I tried a few fun new techniques this month using Distressed Oxide spray inks. It was fun and super messy (I think my hand were aqua/turquoise for a few days!) but I like that they work equally well on dark and light backgrounds.   I also made just over 2 dozen invitations for Alec's graduation party.  Linking up with:

Share 4 Somethings in April

Image
Tomorrow is the last Saturday of the month and time for Share 4 Somethings with Jennifer. This year we're sharing some things we've  loved and/or disliked, accomplished, some things we've improved upon and/or that need improvement, and noticed Loved/Disliked:  I know you are all probably sick of hearing me talking about it but I seriously had the best time meeting up these lovely ladies in Nashville. I love that the days are longer and the sun is shining more. I love seeing all the flowers in bloom and watching the birds slowly making their way back to our feeders. Mostly I love getting to sit outside on the deck and wear my flip flops. 2. I don't think we really have any spring traditions.. we tend to clean up the yard and pull all the patio/deck furniture out of storage, I'll plant some flowering pots for our front steps, and we swap out clothing from winter to spring.  3. I don't feel like I've been wearing many spring outfits this year but some of my favorites from this past month include: 4. I love a good pasta primavera loaded with fresh veggies! 5. Ordinarily I'
