September's Prime Purchases

Ever since I came back from my summer blogging break I've been tweaking my blogging schedule and I was so happy to be back linking up with Prime Purchases with Tanya from The Other Side of the Road.  I have a lot of purchases from the month too!

First off Alec needed clothes for school.  As a Junior he works in the restaurant now and needed a servers uniform-- black pants, white tuxedo shirt, bowtie, and black apron. We bought him these pants that are just like his blue uniform pants for academics but in black; they are one of the few pants we found that come in a 36" inseam. We purchased this tuxedo shirt, this 2 pack of black aprons, and this bowtie

Evan needed some new fall clothes and while we did find most things at Kohl's they only had 2 pair of pants he liked in his size so we ordered duplicates on Amazon. These Lee jeans,  these Levi's , and he also needed another long sleeve shirt and picked this Henley by Amazon

I needed some new fall things too and bought myself some loafers, another pair of my favorite hiking shoes, a pretty fall sweater, a flannel shirt, and this pretty long sleeve shirt.

Fall is often the time of year I refresh items around the house too; things like pillows, new bath mats & toilet seat covers.

This 6 pack of pillows come all rolled up and within 24 hours they nearly quadrupled in size!

I also bought a few cute fall touches for the house like this garden flag, and this pretty 3 pack of flameless candles.

Lastly, I bought a set of sandwich containers for everyone's lunchboxes.

  1. Lots of good things here! I am relying on Amazon for so much, but the busy of September kept me from shopping too much, I guess. Also, August was a heavy month for me. I am sure I will do many of my Christmas gifts with Amazon!

  2. You have reminded me that I should tell my son to check Amazon for pants for work. He has such a skinny waist but he's so tall it's hard to find his size in stores. You got quite a bit and they all look like great purchases!

    1. Yeah, I am awful at remembering to blow out any candle I light so I switched to flameless a few years ago and only "burn" real candles using jar warmers now.

  9. I love shopping for clothes, especially for the kids, on Amazon. They make it so easy to order multiple sizes and return the ones that don't work. Thanks so much for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road

    1. Aw, thank you! I got out of the habit this summer when the ISpy series started getting all random and just haven't got back into the routine of it all.

    1. Thank you! I used to wear penny loafers every day during high school and I'm not sure why I stopped buying them each season as I really did find them to be so comfortable.

  18. Those loafers are cute! I'm also v intrigued by those candles! I don't burn candles a ton, but I do love the effect, so a decorative, light-up item is right up my alley!

    1. I am so bad at remembering to blow out any candles I'm burning so I much prefer the effect of flameless candles... it's so much safer! LOL
