A Dozen of My Favorite Holiday Movies
It's time for our final Not Just a Mom for the year and this month we're sharing our favorite Holiday movies! We will be continuing our link parties next year-- check below for the graphic with all the topics we'll be covering in 2022.
I've written similar lists to this before so if you're a longtime reader I might be repeating myself but I don't really care. I love talking about movies! I have added a few new ones through the years so hopefully there are a few "new" ones on here.
1. Elf
2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
3. The Holiday
4. Love Actually
5. While You Were Sleeping
6. The Santa Clause (though I only like the first one!)
7. Home Alone (again I like the first one best)
8. 8-bit Chritsmas
9. The Grinch; but ONLY THIS animated version.
10. Christmas with the Kranks
11. Miracle on 34th Street
12. The Family Stone
What are your favorite holiday movies?
Starting in January we'll be looking at our favorite bloggers.
You've included many of my favorite holiday movies - I just love the Holiday, Miracle on 34th St (original versions), and manyof the others. Great list! #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI love The Holiday so much!
DeleteI only like the 1 and 2 Santa Claus and Home Alone. I totally forgot about the Family Stone.
ReplyDeleteI wont even watch the third one of either of those! But I do think the second ones are Okay.... just not as good as the first ones!
DeleteI love Home Alone.
ReplyDeleteIt's hilarious no matter how many times I've watched it.
DeleteGood for you to rank them! I am terrible at choosing which one I like the most.
ReplyDeleteFun post, and the version does make a huge difference!
ReplyDeleteIt really does! Just like Christmas music... there are only certain versions of each song I really enjoy.
DeleteYESSSSS. Extra points for adding While You Were Sleeping. I love that movie. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI am ALL about Love Actually, Home Alone, Santa Claus, The Family Stone!
ReplyDeleteThe only one I still have to watch this season is The Family Stone.
DeleteI love these films. The only one I haven't seen is The Holiday. We watched Love Actually yesterday. That is one of my favourites. x
ReplyDeleteOh I bet you'd like The Holiday!
DeleteI need to see a few of these movies because I've heard so many people talk about them -- The Family Stone, for instance.
ReplyDeleteThat one took a few viewings to really grow on me because it can be a bit depressing and Sarah Jessica Parker's character can be a bit much at times.
DeleteGreat list and thanks for the reminder of Last Christmas. I need to watch that!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteOh I always forget about While You Were Sleeping!! That's one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI love that! Sandra and Bill are great together.
DeleteYes to every single one of these! I love that you included While You Were Sleeping because nobody ever mentions that one and it's one of my favorites! The only one missing is Serendipity! You must watch that one if you haven't already!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I've seen that one; I'll have to check it out!
DeleteWe've gotten through so many Christmas films already this year - great round up! #spreadthekindness
ReplyDeleteThank you! I still have a few I'd like to watch but I've watched all the "must see" ones I feel like I just can not go the season without watching.
