Photos of the Week: July 3rd
I had so much fun with this week's prompts!
– rocky-- One of the hiking trails we went on this week was right beside this rocky brook.
– natural-- I loved the natural sparkle the rain gave these leaves
– starts with M-- I made some Manhattan clam chowder this week.
– your choice
Such pretty finds!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky with those hummingbirds! I'd never be able to grab my camera fast enough to get a shot.
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure there was no way I was going to be able to capture him before he flew away!
DeleteSuch great pictures! Especially loving the raindrops on the leaves and a fabulous hummingbird shot too! I finally got to see one in my backyard .... we had lots of them last year, not so much this year!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We always have quite a few hummingbirds around; in fact we've had to rescue a few of them from our garage too.
DeleteI can't believe that hummingbird picture! They are so hard to capture on camera!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe it either!
DeleteFab photos!
ReplyDeleteThe hummingbird photo is fantastic. x
Thanks!
DeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Dawn
I love the droplets on the leaf.
ReplyDeleteGreat hummingbird picture: I always have a hard time since they are so quick. Those leaves with the raindrops are beautiful!!

They are so quick and I was surprised to get a photo where one was so still.
DeleteThat's amazing that you got a picture of the hummingbird like that. Their wings are usual so fast and fluttery, I don't think I've ever seen a picture where there wings didn't look like a blur from the movement!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too! I couldn't believe it when I saw it after I took it. It was like the bird posed just for me!
DeleteLove how you captured the photo of the humming bird, beautiful. Love the rain drops too :) Lovely photos. Thanks so much for linking up to Creative Mondays #CreativeMondaysLinkUp
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the sparkle on those leaves. And now I want clam chowder. YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteAll great photos! The sparkling dew on the leaves and the rocky stream both make me feel cooled and refreshed just looking at them.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteAww! I adore hummingbirds and probably spend an inordinate amount of time photographing them ;). Is it a female ruby-throated hummingbird?
ReplyDeleteI think so; though it could be a juvenile too as they don't get their ruby throat right away.
DeleteA wonderful week with your camera. I specially love your rocky stream - it looks so peaceful and cool, and that hummingbird (we don't have them), everyone has already said it above! I haven't seen that pretty lacy flower before wither - so delicate and lacy. CarolG
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteAmazing hummingbird shot and that chowder looks delish! Thanks for being a faithful iSpy-er! :-)
