    Such great pictures! Especially loving the raindrops on the leaves and a fabulous hummingbird shot too! I finally got to see one in my backyard .... we had lots of them last year, not so much this year!

      Thanks! We always have quite a few hummingbirds around; in fact we've had to rescue a few of them from our garage too.

    That's amazing that you got a picture of the hummingbird like that. Their wings are usual so fast and fluttery, I don't think I've ever seen a picture where there wings didn't look like a blur from the movement!

    Aww! I adore hummingbirds and probably spend an inordinate amount of time photographing them ;). Is it a female ruby-throated hummingbird?

      I think so; though it could be a juvenile too as they don't get their ruby throat right away.

    A wonderful week with your camera. I specially love your rocky stream - it looks so peaceful and cool, and that hummingbird (we don't have them), everyone has already said it above! I haven't seen that pretty lacy flower before wither - so delicate and lacy. CarolG

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. Dollar Store Candy Cane Wreath

Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. What's Up Wednesday in November

It's the last Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for What's Up Wednesday. This will be my last post of the month but I'll be back on Monday the 2nd with some of my favorite Prime Purchases of the year.  What We're Eating: Sunday: Steak (and tofu) stir-fry over rice Monday: Weight Watcher's American Chop Suey  with salad Tuesday: Crock pot Philly cheesesteak grinders with chips and salad Wednesday: Pumpkin pancakes with fruit and bacon Thursday: Our menu hasn't changed since 2020..Though we will sub out the crescent rolls for some homemade bread/rolls that Alec's cooking up for us.  Friday: Leftover turkey pie Saturday: One of our favorite soup recipes; though I'm not sure which one yet! It's the second Monday of the month which means it's time for the Share Our lives link up. This month for the Share Our Lives link up we're sharing where we like to shop. I struggled a bit with this prompt since it's so open ended. I thought I'd list my "top 3" stores in various categories. inside our local Market Basket Groceries: Market Basket Price Chopper Stop and Shop For Gifts: Amazon (free shipping to family that lives far away is fabulous!)
