Southwick's Zoo Trip

My boys and I had a wonderful time visiting a local zoo.  It was great to get out of the house for some fun after a week or so of rainy days.  We saw lots of new baby animals and enjoyed all the rides.

With the kangaroos so close Alec and Evan really inspected their feet, tails, and faces making all sorts of observations.

We saw so many woodchucks but this one stealing the flamingos food was the cutest

Two new babies!

The binturong

We all agreed that porcupines have pretty cute faces

The sloth soaking up some sun

This baby siamang was very entertaining; hanging from the rope and swinging up onto the top of the log.

Trying out the new zipline!

We began and ended our trip with the skyride

    1. We did all have a great time. Sometimes it can be tricky with tweens and teens but no one complained or rolled their eyes once.

    1. We are pretty lucky to live only about an hour away from two pretty nice zoos but I do seek them out whenever we're on vacation too. I just love seeing all the animals.
