Love to Learn-- School's Out!

We finished up the last of our official lessons on Thursday and are enjoying an early summer vacation.  Of course, just because our lessons are done and our books are set aside that doesn't mean we aren't learning.

My boys are spending lots of time outside, we're kayaking, hiking, and biking.  We've hung out with friends and they're learning more self- help and life- skills.

Just this weekend, Alec learned how to use our mower and mowed the lawn while Evan got a lesson in using he excavator.  They both did great!

My boys are all still doing a bit of reading too!  Here is a list of all the books they've read this past month.

    1. It sure is! We often use the extra time in the summer to get involved in messy art or science projects that we weren't able to do indoors the rest of the year too.
