Civil Rights Movement Movies for Middle School
When my boys and I are studying a time period in history we love to watch movies that go along with all the wonderful picture books we choose to read together.
This year our first topic of study for history is the civil rights movements and these are the movies we plan to watch along with our long list of books.
I can not wait to dive right in with the boys!
Movies:
The Help
Remember the Titans
Hidden Figures
Men of Honor
Ghosts of Mississippi
Ruby Bridges
The Long Walk Home
The Rosa Parks Story
Selma
Let Freedom Sing; Music of the Civil Rights Movement
