My November Books

I didn't have nearly as much time to read this month but the few books I did read I really enjoyed!   1. Ever After by Jude Deveraux - - After reading the first two books in the Nantucket Bride series last month, I just had to finish up the series with this book.  When Hallie discovers that her step sister was about to impersonate her for a job as a physical therapist on Nantucket (and take over a house that was left to Hallie by a relative living there), Hallie impulsively decides to fly to Nantucket to escape her life.  She meets James Taggart and knows there must be more to his injuries than an old skiing accident.  The more she gets to know James, the more she falls for him and she can't help but wonder if her heart is bound to be broken once again. 2.  Fairytale by Danielle Steel -- Camille has grown up in a real life fairytale.  Her doting parents have been happily married for ages and have worked hard to build a wonderful, thr...

25 Days of Christmas Movies The Whole Family Can Enjoy

My boys and I always look so forward to making a good month long celebration out of Christmas. Arthur Christmas  12. ...

Friday we had a brunch planned with our hiking group.  Each family brought a dish or two to share and we had a wonderful time visiting with one another.  The kids played games and went outside for a bit.  One of the girls we hike with made up a Dungeons and Dragon type role playing game all themed around Minecraft she brought it to play with and taught the other kids to play too.  They had a lot of fun.  We had some really yummy food to eat too and planned out some general ideas for what we wanted to do with the group for the next few months with the winter weather on it's way. Isn't this fruit turkey just darling?  These moms are so creative....
